That could be the running theme of the show. How Katie kills a new hobo each week.

I like where your heads at. Get the script writer up here on the double, we'll do some rewrites and pitch it to the network again. This has greenlight written all over it.
I'm picturing the show's themesong to have that retro nostalgiac feel, something that will make people think "Courtship of Eddie's Father" but when they see the gore and the wacky slapstick they'll be all, "Whoa this is fresh and happening."
And Katie will need a catchphrase. I'm picturing every episode ending with a dead hobo and Katies eye's welling up with tears and saying, "But I didn't mean to..." It will be so cute, we'll do a plushie and make a mint. Then another member of the cast can console her and offer to get her another hobo for her, thereby setting up the next episode. This thing will be a major franchise, I can smell the money from here.

Yes, why not?
Usually in this comic (and most other zombie movies/games/comics/stories), the people that turn into a zombie were alive first, so I thought maybe the virus needs to spread while they are still alive, like via the bloodstream or something. If the heart has stopped, the blood's not circulating. Or, it's possible that the virus doesn't need no stinkin' blood to spread to take over the dead person, maybe? Yes, I know the shambling maggot feasts aren't real; I just thought this was an interesting idea.

Yes, but the previous statement (from Raven) was that he was possibly already infected. Since Zombie Hunters don't know if the wastelanders are infected or not, it's probably standard procedure to make sure that the dead stay dead.
Then Milo goes to the truck to see how Katie is doing and she force-chokes him dead.

No, if he wasn't infected (or had a bullet-hole to the head), and then he was nommed on by a zombie... would he arise in this comic universe (because the virus comes along after his death)? I suppose I really want to know if a virus could infect someone and spread after they die, realistically speaking. I don't know much about how viruses work, but I know that Jenny put a lot of research in trying to make this zombie virus as real as possible. Is that more clear? I know I often don't explain things very well.

In classic George Romero movies ANYONE who dies becomes a zombie regardless of if they were bitten or "infected."
In Jenny's zombieverse (at least from what I understand from the PSA cartoon) only infected become zombies after dying. Chances of crazy wasteland hobos being infected seem to me like they would be pretty high. As far as infection after death, I don't think so. Virii rely on the bodys own systems to spread I don't think it's possible for a dead body to contract a virus but I'm not 100% certain of that.
In other news... who else thinks there needs to be a gutted hobo plushie? Eh? Eh?

Ah, ok, I hadn't understood that this is what you meant. Then I agree, if he wasn't previously infected, that probably can't change after he's dead.

Can we put his guts on a pull-string? Also, Milo will be killed by a group of raiders, of which contains Charlie's identical twin.

You cannot have leet sword moves like that UNLESS you're in a bamboo grove. At least according to the documentaries I've seen. *a ZombieMercyCatgirl hands over a note* Wait, what? I thought those were samurai/ninja training videos! Have to change that stage of Boot Camp now. *sigh*

If there were a favorite character poll taking place right now I assume he would place very well. *cough* http://www.thezombiehunters.com/forum/index.php?topic=1154.0
