Today in the Infected Dorms: ==================
Communications restored.
Status: A crowd of technovores made it past ZH06 and somehow found our technology centers, chewing through the high-voltage and communication lines. ZH09 was able to quickly dispatch those who were not destroyed by electricity in the generator building, but RH02 had difficulty in the network building as they attempted to minimize collateral damage. One zombie was destroyed approaching the water processing plant by a ZH06 patrol.
ZH07 reports 2 boarding attempts, but no losses. RH01 reports a general success in gathering fowl stock onto a haywagon and driving other stock down extant roadways in a running engagement to the Albatross.
ETA late tomorrow.
Lights out is suspended. Red Halo and Zombie Hunter units will remain on alert until relieved.

Today in the Infected Dorms: ==================
Food stocks are replenished. The live stock from the mission are now living in the central pastureland; the population of pigs, cows, and goats will take some time to grow, but it is obvious that milking facilities will be needed. Half the turkeys have been released into the wooded area adjacent to that area, and the other half were consumed in the Red Halo Cookout at the newly constructed outdoor kitchen as part of our Thanksgiving celebrations. Many thanks to the quick thinking of ZH05 to use in situ farming equipment to gather the wild vegetable crops. Our thoughts go out to the ZH personnel injured in loading the stock onto the Albatross; please feel free to visit them in the Infirmary.
As is now obvious, Lt. Mavra is now returned to duty, and equally obviously, so is her flamethrower. The Lieutenant was extremely effective in destroying the second wave of walkers in the early morning of Thanksgiving.
Lakeward assaults are becoming too regular, and require an evolution of our defenses and lifestyle. Administration will provide details as they become available.
Lights out is at 8am.

Administration does not approve of the non-stop celebrations that apparently have gone on during the last two nights. The obvious typo of the usual lights out time was obviously taken far too literally. From the litter and bottles that have been found, sometimes in surprising locations, it is evident that the away team procured an inordinate supply of "supplies" from the locked-and-barred Desbarats Liquor Store. At least, Administration has no large concerns regarding unintended consequences of these romantic celebrations.
To be clear, lights out has returned to 8pm in the evening.

Awww, drat, I missed out on wild parties til 8 am? Story of my life I guess. Of course this would now explain the pair of boxers that I found on the lawn this morning, I was wondering about that. My son said he bets they drank til they were dead to the world. Of course, I believe he doesn't mean that in the literal sense.

Some people call it non-stop celebrating, I prefer to think of it as consistently maintaining a high alcohol content in my bloodstream to combat potential infection.

Stand-by all units.
Suspected infiltration in progress. In event of loss of comms, look to Admin Building #1 and #2 for signals as to location of inbound: 1: Land = Uninfected camp 2: Sea = Southern Beachhead. 1 & 2: Other or Both. Fall back to Admin buildings.
Population is being evacuated to Administration grounds.

Today in the Infected Dorms: ==================
Infiltration was detected and destroyed. A mix of spitters and technovores took out the networking center a second time in prelude to a large assault from the southern beach and on the the uninfected village.
The backup communications plan essentially provided two large candles in the form of the lit bell towers on the Administration buildings. The fully deployment of all RH and ZH teams in concert with Administration forces was able to destroy the walker- banshee forces in the intense initial conflict, followed by an all- night search-and-destroy within the uninfected village.
Let us remember the fallen.
Tonight, Lt. Mavra will light a triple bonfire on Administration grounds to speed them on their way to glory.
Many thanks to all who have helped and are yet helping with the incineration of the fallen undead at the beach site. Please remember to report for testing at Administration #2 at end of your shift.
Lights out rules are suspended until further notice.

Don't sell yourself short. It's just sometimes I have a run of events in mind. I do read and consider.
