I have to wonder if any of that was Sam reinforcing that attiude with herself. Especially panel 3. If she were ransacking the room while talking or shoving something of interest into her bag I don't think I'd question it at all. Another nice window into Sam though, good update.

I wonder how someone is to react after being in the wastelands for so long, what they would do to another alive human being.
I know if it was me, reaction would be: this isn't real. There are no others left and then attack since it could just be my mind playing tricks on me and they could very well be zombies.
Nonetheless, I am excited for next week's update. : D

After living in the wastes and looking like the better portion of a chewed up piece of gum under someone's boot, I wouldn't approach anyone with a gun without first giving a warning call. Nor would I outright go near them appearing well groomed and looked after as our favorite ZHs appear. I might throw a twinkie, since those never go bad....

They rescue him, but he's infested with parasites. On the way back, one of his ticks infect Milo with Lyme's disease and he dies.
But seriously... I see him escaping them as a best case scenario. I don't imagine him trusting them easily, or them holding their fire if he looks aggressive, even if it's just from fear.
...
Or they confront, Milo makes a hasty decision and shoots him while there were obvious better solutions, and after coming back on the island, he is judged and executed.
TWO Milo death theories in one post, wow, I'm in a good shape today!

The tension builds. Good update!
I think it is "future" Milo. Milo doesn't die, he gets sucked through a wormhole and throw back in time to try to survive in the wastelands. They just saw him, but he is now insane and thinks his long lost friends are delusions.

Hm... The chances of that not being a zombie are iffy. Speedy, but didn't just haul it at them, probably means Hunter or learned Berserker. Or maybe it's a wastelander. Not totally unlikely. Possibly?

Could be a delusional Katie? Or possibly even just an animal or something, although from our perspectives it did look rather humanoid....which might not exactly be what what it was though, if what we're seeing is supposed to be what Katie thought she saw.
