It's not from Solitaire, it's his screen saver. To remind himself that all his efforts are in vain and it'll soon be all over for all, the zombies will win.

There was a chance until recently, but they needed some rare chemicals from the Wastelands to complete the cure, and Milo accidentally dropped the container and they didn't find more of the same so far; there may be no more on earth. Milo did try honestly so he didn't intend to execute him over it, but it became known and now he'll have to make an example out of him.

It was over for ARC when they started the half-life program.  Hey, let's take the one thing that has successfully caused the downfall of human civilization and try to tame it.  This is almost as good of an idea as playing around with sub-space on Star Trek, or going to investigate the power outage in a horror movie.

I ask myself that every time I play a game of Solitaire.

You can get a bad shuffle and run out of moves, or you can get a bad score.

But then you hit Deal/F2 and keep playing, you can play well into the negative until your luck turns around.

It's a metaphor.  Life is going along good and comfortable like a game solitare then suddenly Jasper has "the promotion" and it's as unexpected and startling as a game over screen in a game that doesn't have one.

And... umm... somehow this leads to Milo dying? 

Yea, he totally hacked solitare and when they find out he is behind the game over screens he is excuted...

Mercer held down F2, he was so stunned by Jasper's promotion.  I just had an epithamy (however it's spelled).  Milo's like the Richard of TZH.  And if you've played Resident Evil, you'll hate me for that.  But you can't beat that shot gun  >

Oooh! So Megan will be mortally shot, and in her dying breath, whisper her secret to Milo, which wasn't smart since the assassin was stil within earshot, but really, don't ask too much from the dying. So Milo gets shot too. In the ear. So he's still within earshot. The assassin walks away, grinning from his pun.

Don't forget that the assassin had to be stealthy. Y'know, so that it's a stealth pun.

So Charlie is just doing some research on his new teammates, same as Googleing that new hire at work or looking them up on Facebook.

So Charlie will get to Milo's file and find out some deep dark secret like video footage of Milo stealing Charlie's last cheesey-thingha-ma-doo after the collapse.  Violence ensues and Milo dies.

My only complaint on Thursday updates is now part of brain feels like today is Monday (Noooooooo!!!)  I guess the answer to that is just get more used to Thursday updates   Or have that part my brain eaten?

May I just note that, now that I'm working in a mental hospital (billing, nothing interesting), it is really difficult not to sit around reading people's files? I KNOW HOW IT IS CHARLIE ;__;
