ALSO, Im liking the change in feel of these last couple pages. It was really sad, emotional and dramatic, and now its leading towards a twisting, turning mystery and a big unanswered question.

I too like the turn from sorrow to mystery. But why am I missing the suspicion thrown Jenny's way?
One more comment, it seems tough to convey characters staring at another character. Didn't pick that up until reading the comments section.

The expedition was doing great when Meg bought it. Yeah, totally kacked right in the mission, waddayou stupid? You know the Cleavland Civic Center? Zombies were really digging her, throwing their hotel keys up on the stage. Couple of them big ones caught her in the bead, never got up again. Died like a mangy dog right on stage. *Spits on the floor* Man! Was really proud of her. Excellent death!  |

Nah, it's not failure. Charlie, trying to gather the knowlegde he needs to reintegrate society, has read many books on psychology, and many of them refered to other species to illustrate certain behaviours. He remembered that for some species, the best way to become leader is to defeat the other males in the herd. So he eats Milo. He is then a little confused on whether the comparison is meant to go as far as having to mate with every female. |
