This page did point something out to me. Normally it is a cat's curiosity that gets it into trouble. But here we have Milo's curiosity that could have killed the cat. So what I've figured out is, curiosity just really hates cats in all kinds of ways.
Also, we learned that zombies can shapeshift into cats, but that is not as important.

or it was an internet all along, and the viewers will be sourly disappointed to discover that the interwebs have been extinct for too long and that's why all the good porn dried up, I hate rambling.
Then the zombie pops out and eats internet (even though in Jenny's slideshow, zombies don't get nutrients from uninfected, ie animals). And Milo freaks and shoots, but misses, and nullet ricochettes and hits him in the forehead.
We're been short Milo death theories, with everyone talking about language censors and men getting run over, stufff....
