So glad you've come through this intact-ish. I am patiently waiting. No pressure.

Hmmmm. It's either a celebration of Jenny's return or vacation footage from a pedobear convention.

Cthullu (pbhn) says: Evil little plushies... There are some depths even I will not stoop to.

 Shocked  Holy Wow!  She's back!

 laugh
Welcome back, Jenny!  All is well!  So glad to see you back and getting healthy!

Seriously, the scariest thing wasn't the comic, it was wondering if the Dreamer of the comic was OK.
And she is! Smiley  We're on your side!

Really glad you're OK!
Keep on rocking!

I don't really do forums, but I've been subscribed to the comic for years and was delighted to see an update pop up on my dashboard.

Also de-lurking...

I have been checking the TZH page at least once a week in the past year.
It was such a joy, a feeling of warmth, to finally see the new update this week.
It made me suddenly realize that I was less worried about the comic starting again, than I was genuinely anxious to hear news about Jenny getting better.
Hang in there, Jenny. So good to hear you're on the right track, to hear your voice again, your unique mix of humor and seriousness.
One last thing about the last panel "I don't deserve your patience" -> you so definitely do. You're that kind of person, worth waiting for.
Take the time to get well!

One more de-lurker.  Joined the forum just to say best wishes Jenny, I hope things keep coming together for you.  And take the time you need, that's more important.

Another de-lurker. Been checking the comic everyday for the past year (maybe every other day).

Speaking as a creative and anxious type myself, I definitely sympathize with you, Jenny. Remember that when you're self-published, whenever you're ready to put out more work is the only time its due. Work for yourself! The people who matter don't mind and those that mind don't matter. Trite, I know, but true. Just a sentence saying "no comic today, postponed til' who knows" will placate the majority of us. Bottom line, even the most unique, most talented, most inspired work of art is disposable and replaceable. You are not. That's why we call it editing, not sacrilege. Put up what ever makes you happy, and if it doesn't, don't. Seriously. Your health is much more important to everyone than a regular update schedule.

Cheers, and feel better.

All these younglings scampering about kinda makes me feel like an Old Man of the Forum..... Which would kinda make Outlaw the Methusela of the Forum.  "I have an oxygen mask and a questionable moral code...."

For those that keep track of such things I was the 71st registered member of the forum, 16 days after it started.  But I was already ancient beyond the reckoning of all things.

That sounds suspiciously like something Cthullu (pbhn) would say. You don't by any chance moonlight as sn Elder Evil, do you? Cause if so, I can totally explain all of the goat porn on the Dark Dark Web. It's purely for research, I assure you.

Hey, first time poster here.  I can't actually remember how I came back to this comic.  I read it a loooong time ago but I don't really even remember how long.

I just want to say that even if you *quit completely* after the first few chapters, you would have an amazing accomplishment that few people would ever equal (percentage-wise, I mean--I realize that there are a lot of really great comics out there, etc.  I'm just saying you're in the top few percent of the world in terms of having produced a work of this magnitude and quality, and I don't think I would have a hard time arguing that case at all.).

Get yourself healthy.  Give yourself the space in your head to completely abandon this.  It's OK.  You are more important than the comic.  If you need to permanently walk away from it to have a healthy life, well, screw all these clamoring people, that's what you need to do.  You've done a great work and you don't owe the world anything more.  All of us do owe you something, though, and that is:  space to heal.
