I hadn't checked in a few weeks. I'll probably come back once in a while but I really think she's done.

Yes, unfortunately. After the loss of her bird, that was the end for her. She has had problems all her life, bless her.

Today in the Infected Dorms:
==================

The Administration has noted the lack of toilet paper in the ID area,
and invites those who need it to feel free to retrieve it from the
trees on the Administration grounds.

Remember that lights out has been extended to 9pm for the summer hours.

OK, folks.  Jenny went through a rough patch with Voxel a couple of years ago.
We did what we could to help, but it wasn't to be.

Now, however, Jenny has a new birb companion, and he will likely with us for the
duration.  So, if you want to follow Jenny on Twitter, you can go see:
Pantone the Quaker parrot.

And no, he doesn't have the buckled hat.

Today in the Infected Dorms:
==================

The bonfire in the corner of the ID quad must be noted as being against regulations.
Such open flames must normally be approved in advance by the Administration.
Still, it is noted that the Infected Zombie Hunter unit did appropriately dispose of the
cannabis.  It is also noted that the Administration staff downwind found it hilarious.

Remember that lights out has been extended to 9pm for the summer hours.

Today in the Infected Dorms:
==================

Due notice that Unit ZH9 has been formed under Lt. Sara Xavier.  It is currently a 7 member team,
leaving a slot for a potential transfer in the near term.  ZH9 will be performing team-building, and
combat training in the Homestead cleared training zone (CTZ) on Sugar Island, south of
Sault Ste. Marie.

Due notice that ZH4 is being decommissioned.  A plaque commemorating ZH4 will be installed on
the Hunter's Wall in Administration Bldg #2 on Friday/24th, with some words from our newly
commissioned Lt. Xavier.

Lights out rules are suspended for Friday night as ZH5 has recently discovered a second packet of
illicit cannabis that Administration has approved for a sanctioned bonfire in the ID quad.  The
lighting ceremony will be kicked off by Lt.Xavier and her flamethrower.

Any word from Jenny on how she is doing? I heard you can follow her on Twitter. So, has she started a new project? I"m confused.

No direct word, but she seems well.
Jenny enjoys her husband and birb, and is apparently doing some rather awesome character art for her D&D campaign.
I'm still hoping to get a bird pic for the front page of ZH.

A Word on Firepower:
==============
With the recovery, refurbishment, and fueling of the WWII-era flamethrower and its subsequent issuance to ZH4,
Administration has analyzed the after-action report involving its use against crawlers.  In short, flamethrowers
cause the crawlers to crumple.  The hyper-tightened muscles seem to be extremely vulnerable to heat effects,
causing the crawlers to crumple into the "boxer position" as their muscles shorten.  This effect quickly immobilizes
even groups of crawlers, including embedded spitters and howlers at ranges between 20m and 40m.
=================================================================
M2 Flamethrower
Effective firing range   65 1⁄2 ft (20.0 m)
Maximum firing range   132 ft (40 m)
Feed system   Two, 2 US gal (7.6 l) Napalm/gasoline tanks (fuel)
                                One Nitrogen tank (propellant)
=================================================================

Thanks for the update, Doc. So I guess she has abandoned this project since it has been 2 years. Glad she's doing ok though.
Do you ever play 7 Days to Die? And the upstairs bathroom toilet is making a strange sound again.......
