Today in the Infected Dorms: ==================
Administration wishes all of humanity a Merry Christmas Eve.
Many thanks to ZH-8 to erecting the 8 pine trees from the local forest area. We have no idea where you found actual tinsel.
It has been noted that Lt. Mavra has requisitioned extra flamethrower fuel.
Be safe out there, folks.
Lights out rules are suspended until further notice.

Today in the Infected Dorms: ==================
Administration again wishes all of humanity a Merry Holiday Season. Let us give thanks for a quiet season.
Administration notes that we have successfully celebrated, thus far: * Christmas ( Christmas trees ) * Chanukkah ( _8_ Christmas trees, plus Lt. Mavra) * Yule ( We've mentioned the trees, yes? They did burn all night. ) * Kwanza [Ongoing] (Many thanks to Sgt. Dionysus Green, and his personal 7-candled candelabra )
It has been noted that Lt. Mavra has again requisitioned extra flamethrower fuel.
Be safe out there, folks.
Lights out rules are suspended until further notice.

Today in the Infected Dorms: ==================
As our numbers have increased both in the Infected Dorms and the Village, Administration regrets to announce that all populations will be served reduced rations for the time being.
Nonetheless, we welcome our new members from the US National Guard units and auxiliaries, as they bolster our defensive capabilities. Let us give Captain Reynard, his prized mortar and M60, and the newly formed Red Halo Company B, a warm welcome. With Captain Reynard, we have 2 newly-minted RH Lieutenants Perry Schneider and Marcus Murdoch.
Likewise, we welcome the brave souls who have volunteered to form the new Zombie Hunters units: ZH10 (Lt. Carlton Stone), ZH11 (2Lt. Izzy Kuchner), and ZH12 (2Lt. Keith Fay).
As a Valentine's Weekend celebration, Red Halo Yakamura will be again presenting a "Doctor Who" marathon, with 3 episodes, again using an actual film projector salvaged from Carmike Varsity Cinemas projecting against Administrative Building #2.
Tonight's episodes will be: The Unquiet Dead, Aliens of London, and World War III. Obviously, RH Yakamura is maintaining an apropos selection.
Lights out rules are reinstated as of 8pm. Dr. Mercer hypothesizes that the zombies are dormant and may lose some memories of our location so long as ARC does not light up the sky at night.

Hello Doch!!! Hope you are doing well. I have been coming back here from time to time to see if you post anything. Also, this Winter Storm we had recently here in IN has knocked out the internet. Glad to see a new post. Though, seems I missed the Dr Who marathon. I'll have to look up those episodes. Again, hope you are doing well.

I'm in Texas and we had intermittent blackouts all week. It was 52 degrees inside my apartment one day. I knew it was cold because the cat just burrowed under the covers and didn't even come out for a treat. I had to carry the bag of treats to her instead.

Wow. Maybe that should be a new term: cat-cold.
"Thanks for the Update, Monica. Well, here in Houston, the weather will be cold and shitty. In fact, recent testing has confirmed that in many homes it is officially cat-cold, with outdoor temperatures solidly in the butt-cold range. Back to you, Ted!"
