I might be wrong but the title of the chapter refers to some old saying 'Sticks and stones may break your bones but words will never hurt you'.
hmm, The kids from earlier who taunted Katie might come back to inflict some more damage but this time physical.

Just a thought.
EDIT:
Also, if that comic is remembered correctly, there is a hole in the gate. Wouldn't be too unrealistic for a kid zombie to get through and start a bit of trouble. Trouble that may involve the death of that family or something. Okay, done theorising now.
