I mean, hadn't it only been like two-three weeks since Charlie had become a half-life at that point? How do you go from "hurrrrrrr..." to "Tea, m'lady?" in that short amount of time? It was even explained in the comic by Mercer that he had regained none of his original personal traits. That means his personality is recently developed. Some explanation on that would be very nice.  |

It doesn't take extreme brain damage to cause a personality change, so he could have retrieved most of his former aptitudes and still miss the little magical part that forms identity. Obviously one would not learn to talk so quickly, so they have a way to revive parts of his memory at least. Actually, they could have purposedly destroyed his former ego so he'd be less prone to an existential crisis and rebellion.
Or they just force him to wear a monocle whenever he's in private so gentleman vibes sink in. That's why he has only one normal eye.

I know what happens. Jenny warms up to Charlie, hugs him. He accidentally wants to bite her, Milo shields her with his love and devotion...oh yah, and bites Milo's hand. How many death theories does that make??? I thought Jenny was clear that there are no more zombies in the comic.

A few moths have went by since Jenny first saw him, and some more passed since the conference. I really really dislike displaying 'x amount of time' has passed when you can rather show not tell, it IS tricky however, as you can see, because people are confused. I displayed time passing with the change of the season in this chapter, and from that chapter, them mentioning another month passing on top of that, and for those keen eyes, Jenny's hair growing longer  |
