I know someone who lived in a rat-infested garage, and to be safe from the rats he picked a large one and tamed it. Being big to begin with and better fed than the others, that big rat was able to defend his territory from the others so the guy didn't have to fear rats gnawing at his toes in his sleep.

Yeah, I'm noting that one. In case I'm ever stuck with rats for an extended period of time, and don't have a cat. Or a dog (that ONCE caught a rat after years of yapping at them, and she was so pleased with herself) |

Considering he subsists on Blood and human tissue he's got to have really horrible breath to begin with, let alone without brushing his teeth. Mine gets pretty horrible just eating low-carb most of the week.
