This was nobodies fault, Jenny was shocked awake and reacted, and Charlie was obviously unhappy about it

Is it just me or do I detect a little evil more so than anger in the panel right after the *crak*.

How would you react if you woke up with charlie's face at point blank from you?

I dunno. Sam warned him to just turn off the TV on the set rather than the remote; I think Charlie went out of his way just to screw with her. He won't make any friends going that route either!

I agree, Charlie pushed it. Add the risk of the remote getting damaged and you see where the real possibity for the situation to become tragic.

Or more to the point: how would you react if you survived in a Zombie filled hell-hole for YEARS then had a guy who looks exactly LIKE one wakes you up crouching over you. Charlie fucked up; unfortunately he kind of wants to forget what he is; Jenny can't, ever not deep down in that part of her that kept her alive when she was being hunted by them on a daily basis.

I think he was right. Jenny has to get used to him, if he starts to walk on eggshells not to do anything she doesn't like she'll push him into a corner and tolerate less and less and bully him crazy.

Well yeah, she would have to get used to him. Imagine if he simply sat down in a chair to relax. She then wakes up and sees him and throws the remote at him from nearly across the room in panic. Or at the very least jump and scream. Which is simply offending

*checks to see if ensouls is around*
But he is still one of them. He might be under control, but he's not "cured", he's not even really alive. They've managed (somehow) to have him retain something of a personality and act in what appears to be a rational manner. But he is an experiment. Jenny has every right to be cautious, suspicious, and even somewhat afraid of Charlie. Now we've glimpsed at what his potential is already, so this opinion may change, but personally I'd have to see more.

I am always around.
But, he did a stupid thing. It's best not to startle people awake no matter who you are, lest you get smacked in the face. I don't think she'd have to worry about him being secretly evil yet. Maybe once he starts hearing the zombies talking to him >>
