No no, the zombies will be there, but to top a certain other work of non-fiction, instead of sparkle they'll be four dimensional Zombie Klein Bottles!

Say, if the zombies need nourishment then how come the zombies with their guts (partially?) eaten can survive?

Do they need nourishment? I guess I need to go back and re-read the older ones, but I thought Charlie was the only one that needed to eat?

The other thing is, even if they do need nourishment, we still know they can hibernate for long-enough-to-be-undefined time periods. Maybe the ones with damaged guts just haven't starved to death yet. <- I advocate for dis guy.

Prolly the zombos with their guts everywhere but their abdomen are the ones with extensive decay. Also, when things rot don't the guts go first? That might explain why some zombies look completetly horrifying, the buggers didn't get nourishment in time to preserve the ol' innards So let's review, taking out a zombies guts it like cutting a roaches head off. The body will survive till it starves - the zombie will gnaw anything until it starves, slips into hibernation and Idunno, wakes up when someone comes around and gnaw on them. Doesn't do it much good, it's just the brain trying to survive. Which brings about that ancient old question, can a zombie head survive without the body? And if so, for how long?

A human head can stay alive for about 2 or so minutes... when it's a quick, clean cut. The arteries vasoconstrict, holding the oxygenated blood in. Thus, keeping your brain alive.
You couldn't talk or anything super crazy like that. But you'd be conscious.
With Zombies, I'm not sure. It would have to actually happen.

Well if the brain is intact after decapitation, then I'm sure that a zombies head will still be able to live for a bit. Just stomp on it like it's come spider or something.

Because your brain is what keeps you alive if you chop off someones head, the body is most certainly dead, but the head.... takes a few moments to 'power down' so to speak.

It's like cutting the head off a chicken. The head's gone, but the body can function. In short, we're dealing with chickens with their heads cut off. THE MAGIC IS RUINED, EVERYONE GO HOME.

Just a question, but why does every webcomic write in all-caps? And why is it so unnoticeable!?

So if a zombie head is still "alive" because that's where the brain is, then a chicken's brain is somewhere in it's body because it's still alive then the head is removed? That's creepy. Chickens are now officially creepy.
