I never had a problem with fishing lures. Then again, I grew up on the Norwegian coast.

Please don't eat fishing lures.

You know, I think the Half-life project was very wrongfully turned down. What, you don't need "an army". Just have a team of half-lives (5-6) and you could use them to clear out entire zones without casualties. The zombies don't give a care about their presence and therefore get slaughtered. In fact, gun shots will attract more zombies, but these zombies won't attack the half-lives. You could have municipality sized areas mostly cleared out in just a matter of weeks(add on some more time for sweeping the area multiple times afterwards).
"army" my ass. I don't think concealing a handful of individuals would be that hard.

I think so too. Especially since, being safe from zombies, they could live on the main land most of the time, and the only obligatory contact would be for their food and maintenance. Besides, if they're around long enough, people will get used to them. They'll be discriminated against like hell, but given the situation the effort of managing it would be worth it.

No, it is more that since the zombies don't attack nor run away from them, the half-lives can just systematically and calmly go executioner style on the zombies. Hell, one of them is probably going to have to stand behind the rest and constantly clean guns.

Jenny, if your publisher doesnt bring these books to stores, then i'll just have to buy a box or two, and sell them on my street corner. Also may have to dress in drag. >.>

the half-lives can just systematically and calmly go executioner style on the zombies. If one zombie qualifies for the half-life program, why not all of them? The half-life program introduces the concept that they can be "saved". Going executioner on them becomes a moral dilema. Dat ass "This is why we fight. This is why we die." Thucydides

Well, you have the disemboweled ones (and such) and then the fact that they can't "save" every zombie. Of course, when I say "going executioner" then it is just going up to the zombies and shooting them. Same thing the humans do(minus that the zombies go after the humans). Also, the whole "they are dead" thing. Edit: Hah, I noticed that Ozymandias (if that really is his/her name) looks almost exactly like my cat. Only real difference is that Ozymandias looks better groomed since my cat lives outside all the time.

Hah, I'd love to go to Trondheim(and Oslo), visit " Outland" and then ask them to get the book. TZH would probably fall in perfect taste with a store like that. And everything they sell is in English anyways, so...
