What's she gonna do anyway? It's not Katie's fault Jameson died, she only briefly abandoned him. She probably just wants someone to blame D:

I dunno why a person would take time out of their day to send you, or really any webcomic artist, hate mail for something that they get for free. Stupid ingrates.

I'd "love" to see some of that hate mail... I doubt whoever writes hate mail to regular webcomic artists are over the age of 14.

She needs to get over it. The world is sucking and she's antagonizing one of the few people willing to be in danger so she can have food to eat. More Katie ownage is acceptable...

I suspect people who think a major catastrophe magically makes emotions rational are either 14 years old, or stopped growing up at that age. Or maybe their experience of grief is losing a distant aunt they only saw on Christmas and family reunions who smelled funny and talked too loud, and think anyone more affected than them is weak.

Can't disagree with that. In fact, in a major catastrophe or in a post-apocalyptic world, loss of someone close is going to be a lot more emotionally devastating than in regular life.

While IU understand what you're saying, I'm an example of someone who consciously checks their emotions to keep things functional. Not required to be nice to people who don't when they don't need an excuse to be idiots. Oh, the joys of trying to not make things worse... Unfortunately, conflict rarely works well in my life. As such, conceding now.

This is why we can't have nice things. Now everyone play nice or I'm not going to draw Jameson's mom and Jasper having a sissyfight.

Nice is preferable. Understood and accepted. Also, I was trying to be complimentary. Clearly did poorly. Hm...

Well to play Devil's Advocate, Katie DID leave him behind. I'm pretty sure there's a "leave no man behind" mantra here.
