It's Milo, when he's been splashed with cold water and turned into a girl. (of course it eventually kills him, but by such a complicated process that I won't explain it)

I read that, and it ruined my day. Now I'm sad. Why do Apocalypse stuff have ad things in them? You lead me through a good few pages, let me partially attach my self to a kid (didn't know till I KNEW he was dead), and killed him. So sad =C.

Bad stuff is pre-written to be in the works. That has to be one of the most anticlimactic deaths ever, though. Wasn't even out and about before dying.

What would you really expect a child to do, other than hide, in an apocalypse where meat-eaters the size and strength of adults roam? A younger Maureen?
I thought the same thing.

It was tragic...afraid...goes to sleep in hiding...gets attacked without a chance to flee or fight...reaches out for the only security he knows, the murbblesaur...the murrblesaur cuts him loose like he doesn't even care. Why do Apocalypse stuff have bad things in them? It ain't no swinging party where they dance the apoCalypso. At least TZH has some element of hope with ARC. Some fiction removes all hope and that is really depressing stuff.

You know I kinda hoped that there would be a comic page where the scavenger is walking out with Murblesaur sticking out the back, and then you can see the zombified kid with a bullet hole in his head and his arm stretching out as if reaching for Murblesaur.

Zombies that get shot in the head don't reach for anything, though. Because they're dead. Like... Re-dead. Perma-dead.

True. It would have been sad though if there was a scene that went similarly: *Scavenger exits room with Murble sticking half out of her bag. From a veiled portion of the house the zombified kid affixes his gaze on Murble, stretches his arms out for it and begins shambling desperately toward Murble. The scavenger hears this and turns around to see the kid approaching and shoots him in the head thinking it was coming at her.**Que picture of Forever Alone guy with a bullet hole in his head* Forever Dead.
