Watching "Angel Beats" again... You know now that I think about it... This Anime have a dark side to it. For some reason I can hear Light Yagami laughing in my head.

Someone on another forum I frequent started watching that as well. You folks have great taste Stalled on it some time ago but it was pretty good and the music, smashing. You know I stall on the good stuff, no matter how much I like it, but I'll get back to it someday. Taking it slow but Sakamichi no Apollon (Kids on the Slope), I came for the jazz and what I'm getting aside from amazing tunes is a love story, multiple romances and while it may feel familiar (Don't want to say predictable) in terms of romantic progression, it's just so damn good.

Afro vs Afro Droid, that fight in the sky had a damn amazing piece and one of my favorite battles in the series. Also the start, Ron Perlman and Samuel L. Jackson with some funky beats; fucking badass.

Somehow that school sounds wickedly evil if you need torrents, but I know you'll get all the good stuff. How much can you get? Space wise and episode wise?

Well it's not really the school. I have an apartment now in Ottawa but because my girlfriend and I are on a budget as we are both poor university students, we can only get a limited internet package and I can't really afford to go over so by getting my friend to burn some animes for me I can just watch them on my dvd player.
I asked him to burn: - Spice and Wolf season 1 (I already own season 2 on legitimate dvd) - Toradora - Baccano - Durarara
If I find anymore that I want I can just ask him and pay him 5 bucks a disc as I am already.
HK I'm sure you approve of that list so far.

Just finished watching Claymore. It was good but talk about a non ending. No resolution to any of the plot threads at all. No talk of a sequel either. Bluh.

Kept up with the manga until chapter 100 or so, but did the anime have that totally awesome fight in the north? Well it's not really the school. I have an apartment now in Ottawa but because my girlfriend and I are on a budget as we are both poor university students, we can only get a limited internet package and I can't really afford to go over so by getting my friend to burn some animes for me I can just watch them on my dvd player.

Totally understandable, all university students are poor and streaming would take loads of internet usage space, let alone downloading the quality stuff. Tragic, but I'm glad you have a back-up to get your fix. Baccano had better be dubbed, and Ladd Ruso is so much fun as a psychopath. Real fun with the characters and the music, especially the lovable duo Issac and Maria. Durarara, liked Baccano more but still some real solid stuff with more great music, amazing first OP/EP combo, a great cast of characters and some cameo/shoutouts and Celty. But you should watch Baccano first, if just for a moment in the middle of Durarara. It was glorious. You're always a gentleman of excellent taste

I recently started a great anime called Jormungand, about an arms dealer named Koko with her band of soldiers and their exploits in the arms trading business. It's got action, humor, and an interesting cast of character, what more do you need?
