Yes, I love Black Lagoon. I'm currently watching Ergo Proxy. It's interesting so far and I like the art/animation style quite a bit. But it has one of the guys you see in Anime every now and again WHO WILL NOT OPEN HIS FUCKING EYES. EVER. That bugs the shit out of me after a while. |

MAHOU SHOUJO MADOKA MAGICA (otherwise known as puella magi madoka magica i don't know why it has two different titles it's japan~~~) IT IS GLORIOUS. It's drawn in this really cutesy style that would normally make me gag and throw the computer against the wall, but the storyline is pretty grimdark, and there are instances where the animation just goes CRAZY and it's just this huge juxtaposition and it's AWESOME.

I've seen things about it and it sounds insane, so I might give it a watch.
Well, you might not get a chance to. It's been under scrutiny from ~concerned parents~ who don't think it's okay showing thirteen-year-old girls fighting to the death every episode and things like that, and now with the situation over in Japan, it may be cancelled. The big bad of the show was an event called Walpurgis Night, which was going to majorly fuck everyone's shit up, and (it's implied) send the world into massive chaos (none of that is a spoiler, don't worry). So it's quite likely that the creators of the show will think it's in bad taste to show the Japan-centered world of the show getting destroyed. hhh. |

No way they would cancel it. And with what's happening in Japan, hopefully it and the others for the Winter 2011 season (And Spring 2011) would still be alright. Even more waiting for Baka to Test S2. Took so long to wrap up Higurashi but it was still decent. Going to watch the second season eventually, but sooner rather than later. Otherwise, pretty much only a bi-weekly/weekly dose of Katanagatari and daily doses of Yakitate!! Japan and a bit of Nurarihyon no Mago. Yakitate... so stupidly funny and with ham. Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu: Matsuri, such tears of joy... how I missed this series! And there's fan-service in the first minute  |

Easily some of the best 75 minutes of anime I've watched as of late, regardless if the most recent thing I finished apart from that was the most generic stuff I've ever laid eyes on.
Makes me want to restart the manga, both versions.
