Norwegians are born with skis on their legs. horrible for our mothers, yes.
So even though I don't do any winter sports, I am still able to go skiing without falling on my ass all the time.
But I love winters with good weather(cold and sunny).

As long as the wind isn't blowing too hard(especially by the coast) then it is mostly just dependent on your clothes. Here in Norway, the cold record is just some 51 Celsius though. Though you'll find colder than that on Svalbard I guess. People overestimate the cold in Norway. The "real reason" Norwegians are supposedly so used to cold is simple: Need for use of the sea + Nordic sea + Winter= Fucking cold. I think I once walked home from a friend's house once, clothed pretty much like it was autumn, and then I noticed that my hair started freezing to ice. And then it started hurting devilishly at my forehead and hair roots. |
