Two of my siblings are working on ideas for a Spyro parody because they feel the new Spyro game, "Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure", is insulting to and doesn't seem "true" to the first games. The game-play might be fun, but the story goes that Spyro and other characters were turned into "real world" toys that players would use in order to play the character in the game (three come with the game, but others could be bought separately)? Wtf? I could probably deal with the new odd look for the purple dragon or that people are rebooting the Spyro games yet again, but the toy idea- stupid. Really stupid.
If they were going to reboot the Spyro games again, why not use a different character and make it a completely different game if he's going to be the only thing linking this game to the other ones? That way, they could have the mature game they wanted with bloodshed, as it was originally written to be (the game makers were told not to make a dark game, as all the other games were intended for kids). But if they went ahead and did the mature game, would they also use the toy idea? lol
...I've gotten off-track, as my mind likes to do. XP Anyway, it's almost my siblings think this new game idea of theirs would really happen, or whatever, but who knows? They want my help with making samples of what the game could look like (and I have a crapload of unused characters I wanted to make for a comic that never went anywhere, but they can use them). My brother wants to learn how to make games and could write songs, my sister likes to draw and make clay figurines, and I like to (or still want to like to) make 3D art that could be based off of the drawings and clay figurines. I guess we'd off to a good start. lol
TL;DR: Siblings are outraged at the new Spyro game, so they want to make a Spyro parody, and they're trying to get me to help them.

Those pesky ants...getting all over my cookies. Why, if I ever catch them inside my pants, I'll...I'll--*sighs* This isn't fair, they don't even have pants to steal from. Burning them will have to suffice. It will keep me warm and fuzzy.

Any radical change is an open door for opportunism. If you'd look at France right after the revolution, you'd think it was better off without liberty. Why? Because it needed to reinvent its institutions and the people didn't know what they should expect of the government, and when the like of Robespierre happened, they didn't immediately know if it was necessary evil or abuse of power.

Is it wrong to infer that the world is gonna go through a total ecomomic reformatting like the end of fight club sans the shit blowing up (greece/england riots excluded)?

Someone I know is constantly complaining about... not even people, but about shallow stereotypes that are all she sees of people. Immigrants, women, men, children, old people, students, scholars, minimum-wage workers, unemployed parents, working parents, protestors, pacifists, muslims, atheists, certain countries as a whole, people who dress funny, mental illness sufferers, shy people, people who don't forward chain letters, etc. Always condemning someone and, if they try to argue, writing walls of texts describing how ungrateful they are to society as a whole to not exist solely to comfort her nasty little sense of smugness, with very apparent disgust at them. And the whole thing is made ridiculously sad and ironic by the fact that she is morbidly obese, suffers from fibromyalgia (a disease that is so ill-understood people often believe victims are faking it) and I wouldn't bet on her mental health, and if she stopped to think once in a while, she would know that she is the last person who should be encouraging treating people according to prejudice.
