A girl told me that she doesn't really like Ska and that it's not for everyone.
How do you politely say "You are a giant fucking idiot"?
I don't like Ska. :3

It's okay to have your own opinions, as long as you recognize that you're wrong.
On a lighter note, my dick is like something from Greek Mythology. And by that I mean it has six heads.

Really? Mighty Mighty Bosstones is a ska band? I've only heard their song, "The Impression That I Get" a long time ago and liked it. Never really knew what "ska" was. I don't always recognize music genres; I just know what I like. ^_^

Reel Big Fish/Sublime for my Ska. It's completely unrelated to Ska, Blues Rock or Folk Rock, but Bruce Springsteen.

Ska is defined by its emphasis on the backbeat much like Reggae (reference the 2 Tone movement from Jamaica which is usually accepted as the birth of ska) and typically the use of horns for both accents and harmonys.
While Sublime did a songs (like Date Rape) that fit the ska mold I'd hesitate to call them a ska band. Just like Rancid doing Time Bomb doesn't make them a ska band. But you sort of have to take your ska where you can find it these days.

Don't start a band. No one wants to hear you, no one will understand.

I see. You were in a good band, then.
Life is hard. Cigarettes help. They don't make it easier, but they sure as hell make it shorter.

Guess I'll stick to being a casual from my former level of casual, Senor Ska. When we discuss music of any kind now, I'll call you Senor Ska Outlaw.
