I had my hand over my mouth for like 75% of the final chapter. This is actually the first time I can even remember doing that.

[spoiler]I just kept going MOTHERFUCKER CLEMMY AND I DIDN'T TAKE YOUR SHIT. EVERYONE WHO DID IS ALREADY DEAD. Well, except for Lilly, since she kind of ends up in Woodbury, but anyway. I cried when Ben died, because I actually liked Ben and seeing him go in such a way broke my heart. Then I cried when Clemmy saw her parents. THEN I cried the whole time Lee was guiding Clemmy through what to do, along with holding on to my controller so hard that my knuckles had gone white, especially when she started with that bonechilling childish screaming, ugh. That shit was intense. And then that fucking beautiful country song came on in the credits, and I couldn't really turn the waterworks off. I REALLY hope that the two figures in the distance were Christa and Omid, because I had entrusted Clemmy to them, and they grew on me quickly.

And because I'm lame, I'm at least happy that Lee and Carley are together again, because fuck you I don't have to defend my OTP shut up.[/spoiler]

There was Ben finally breaking down at the worst possible time and telling Kenny that it's his fault his wife and child are dead while a horde of zombies break into the room (Also Ben's fault), Then Kenny going batshit insane and trying to kill him while Lee said "YEAH! HE'S A FUCK UP! LET'S KICK HIS ASS LATER WHEN WE'RE NOT TRYING TO AVOID A HORRIBLE DEATH!" and then a solemn nod from Kenny as Lee dropped that waste of supplies down a bell tower.

Lilly was going apeshit, all because Kenny saltlicked her dad, and Carley, as much as I absolutely loved her, was kind of getting all up in a crazy woman's shit when said crazy woman had a gun. As for Ben being a fuckup...okay, yeah, you got me there. Still, saving him is TOTALLY worth watching him shut Kenny the fuck up. That, and Clemmy liked him. Clemmy's word is law.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]I see what you mean about Ben, but while I was playing the Walking Dead, I kind of got into "survivor" mode. Yeah, he was a stupid teenager, but when the dead start walking, sorry bro, you don't get to be a stupid teenager any more. And while I genuinely cared about Clementine, she's a kid. I felt horrible that she saw all of the things that she did, but that's what happened. I mean, I KNOW if I went back and played through the game again, I would do things differently to protect her, but, sadly, she's 8/9. She doesn't know the difference between what should be and what needs to be. And I totally blame him for Carley's death, at any point he could've stood up and said something. If he had said something when I said "Hey, do you know where all of the supplies went?", I probably would've stuck up for him. And when the bandits approached him and were like "Yo dawg we got yo friend", he should've said something, and if he had, I probably would've stuck up for him. But he never did. I'll give you Carley, she probably should've taken a step back from Lilly, but I really doubt she expected her to actually SHOOT her. I know I sure didn't. Which is why I left that stupid bitch in the road. The only bad feeling I had after doing that was that I didn't get to see her death proven. And as for the whole "Saltlicking her dad" thing, Fuck Lilly. Yeah, if my dad died I'd be fucking heartbroken, but if there was a chance of him getting back up and eating the shit out of me and two other people, you'd better believe I'd splatter his brains EVERYWHERE. And I know that things might be different if I were truly in that situation, but as far as the game went, yeah, you gotta be logical, man. And hell, I'll admit it, they could've waited a bit, it's not like people immediately jump to their feet and turn into whirling dervishes of death. They could've stood by, ready, and if his eyes were gray when they opened, or his first word was "Graaah", boom, saltyface. If he turned out to be fine, they could've just punched him a couple times because he was such a shitty person. Maybe punched him more than a couple times. Like... All of the times. Just nothing but face punches any time he opened his mouth to say anything.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]Since one of the lessons inherent in every zombie movie ever is that survival is meaningless if you lose your humanity I did everything I could to be as ridiculously tolerant as possible, even of Ben.  The two spots I deviated from that was I forked one of the cannibals in episode 2 and I left Lilly at the side of the road because my reaction was OTP DEAD!  FUCK THIS BITCH!!!  One of these days I'll replay and make pretty much the opposite of all my first choices to see what happens.  Like I'm curious to see if the last episode would be any different if I didn't cut my arm off.  And holy shit, Lee is the most badassed one armed man ever.[/spoiler]
