Or maybe it's just flat diet coke that tastes nice. I wouldn't really know since I've never had a regular bottle of coke in my entire life (coke zero tastes like crap imo)

Yes to both. Anyway, there was partial success- it formed a manky film on top of the cola, and it is a little cleaner, though will still need a sanding wheel taking to it. One unexpected plus was it dulled the shiny edges to a similar shade to the rest of the metal. |

Blarg! I've had a glut of ideas for stuff to make. I could either convert an old drawer and some scrap wood into a bin for my housemate, make a lantern or make some beer bottle drinking glasses. Or, I could haft the axeheads I made, or finish that CD rack I started. Agh, too many ideas!

Argh, but that's boring!
Plus, only one of the axes has a deadline and that's four months away and the CD rack has been on hold for so long it doesn't make a difference anyway.
Also, I've already designed the lamp now, I wanna see if it works!

This is pretty much why I got a new computer. All the damage to my old one added up to 1200 bucks, and the thing was only worth like 700 (probably less, since it was so outdated). So instead, I bought the parts to build an awesomer computer with that money, as well as salvaging a few parts from the old one (like a hard drive). |
