A Game of Thrones, book one in the Song of Fire and Ice Series. Huge effing book, but its good. I want a dire wolf...
Oh, I hope you don't start to enjoy anyone at any point through the entire series. For your sake. Edit: I just realized that might sound like I didn't like these books. I love the hell out of these books, so very much. |

I... can't resist- It's inferior to Battle Royale! I have read the first one at least, so my statement is partially valid. But as long as you have read Battle Royale first. Back to Pluto (Vol 4) and Rurouni Kenshin (Vol 8 ), and I don't have an actual book to read. Had to return The Glass Bead Game before I could really start reading it but I have The Skystone left unfinished and Anathem by Neal Stephenson. Considering that I couldn't finish the first book of The Baroque Cycle or Cryptonomicon... |

Yeah so I've heard from my two friends who have read all the ones out. Like, I liked Bran's character, and then he gets pushed out of a window by the sister-loving, incest freak. The book is so good, a little confusing with all the names, but good. Also, Sansa is a huge fucking slut, and Dany's brother is a total bitch. |

I like Jon, he's cool. I did like the Direwolves, but they've managed to kill off/ get rid of two I think? Sansa's Lady and Arya's Vyrmina I think it is. Arya is cool, I want her to survive and be totally awesome. Jon and Arya are great characters, so is Bran but he's kinda crippled. I just assume all the other Starks will die a terrible death.

Quite possibly my favorite series of all time. Just started Brave New World last night. It's interesting and a tad creepy.
