Wrapped up Planet of the Apes and it was worth the short ride. After reading it, it's much more different from the movie than I initially thought.

It could possibly cost you more in the end, and you'll get less than sparkling quality.

Forgot they used guns in the 1600's but that's that time period and all. Heck if I know what significant stuff happened then. Which is Honour and the Sword by A.L. Berridge, picked it up because it said it read like a Bernard Cornwell with The Three Musketeers. Quite the fat book with larger than normal font, or regular font that just seems large.

Let's list of stuff I'm reading atm: various papers on Slaughterhouse 5 (for English) various papers on the evolution of User Interfaces (for Computer Science) a couple of history books about the Mexican-American War (for History) the Wheel of Time series (audiobook...not paper, but it's books!) and Republic Commando: True Colors
...only the last 2 are for personal enjoyment. The rest are all for classes.

Hells Angels - Hunter S. Thompson.
His death came too soon but I can respect the decision to want to go out before you're carried out.

Definitely agreed there, but older editions can be pretty cheap, which is why I'm running a game in 2nd ed rather than 4th. My corebook cost £2.50 off Amazon. Anyhoo, books. I recently finished Raven Bloodeye. I cannot reccomend it highly enough. 'Tis historical fiction, following a group of Vikings in Dark Ages Britain. Fracking awesome book.

Just throwing this out there, Kindles can display (most) PDFs, and are much easier to read then reading it on the computer). I've got all of the Star Wars Saga edition books on mine. Very handy.
Anyway, reading Star Wars Republic Commando: Order 66.

I'm all out of The Saxon Stories so putting this bad boy on hold. The second and third books are called Sons of Thunder and Odin's Wolves respectively. Triple the badassery and also on hold.
