I went through a few books in the summer; the ones I can remember:
Army of the Republic - Stuart Archer Cohen As the Crow Flies - Jeffrey Archer Azincourt - Bernard Cornwell Battle Royale - Koushun Takami The Book Thief - Markus Zusak The Kite Runner - Khaled Hosseini The Last Kingdom - Bernard Cornwell The Pale Horseman - Bernard Cornwell
Now I'm on to Not Wanted on the Voyage (Again) by Timothy Findley (For English), Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk and thinking of doing American Gods and Smoke and Mirrors by Neil Gaiman for my English assignment.
Have you stopped by Goodreads, and read your book today?

You've got The Book Thief - Markus Zusak down twice, or is it just that good? =P
I recommend Catch 22 - Joseph Heller, one of the best books I've ever read.

I've been reading the Dresden Files lately, as well as Pride, Prejudice and Zombies.
Right now I'm on "Dust of Dreams" by Steven Erikson, the ninth and penultimate book in the "A Tale of the Malazan Book of the Fallen" series.

I read the first book in the Dreamhunter duet, and will definitely be picking up the second, but right now I am reading Lemony Snicket: The Unauthorized Autobiography. Also, when I was waiting around in Barnes & Noble, I started reading Nightmare Detective. It's manga similar to xxxHolic and Pet Shop of Horrors, which are two of my favorite manga.

It is narrated by Death, so it's good right off the bat And forgot that I left it in twice, was trying to reorganize it into alphabetical order, but I guess I'm incapable of doing that.

I'm currently reading Fate of the Jedi: Abyss.
Before that I read the Han Solo Trilogy. It was a let down.

I never got past Force Heretic I, but I do have the trilogy and The Final Prophecy. Been meaning to read it for a while, and been keeping myself spoiler free from what happens next.
Also reading A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson. It's what a textbook should be. So far, deals with physics, chemistry, geology, astrology and cosmology, and that's less than 200 pages in.

Reading Resident Evil - The Umbrella Conspiracy, by T.D. Perry, basically a novelization of the first game, cheesy voice acting not included! XD After that Im gonna read this Resistance novel, written by William C. Dietz, which looks great.

reading The Scions of Shanarra by Terry Brooks. for the second time in my life. After that, I'll finish the series, and hopefully by then, the 12th Wheel of Time book will be available.

*consults notebooks* Debatable Space by Philip Palmer. Pandora's Star by Peter F. Hamilton. Won't get into all the pdfs as those two were on your actual paper.

My roomie is lending me "The Name of the Wind," or something like that, and I'm trying to get my hands on a copy of Mervyn Peake's "Boy In Darkness."

I'm a big fan of NJO, and all the books placed after it.

I read the first of the "Left Behind" series. The story itself is good, but it's obviously written to be evangelistic, as well, and it was kind of annoying. It was repetitive when it got into the "JESUS SAVES!" parts.

If you want to read a Christian book that isn't totally "JESUS SAVES! REPENT OR DIE!" in your face kinda stuff, try reading "This Present Darkness" and it's sequel "Piercing the Darkness" by Frank Peretti.
Really good reads, and really good descriptive writing.

I have very particular tastes when it comes to my reading material. Not that it's very highbrow, mind you. Most of my bookshelf consists of Stephen King, Dean Koontz (yes, I don't care if you throw a brick at me), H.P. Lovecraft, and miscellaneous sci-fi, fantasy, and horror. To be honest, I can't stand any other genres. Maybe it's a weakness, but meh. I don't care.
