Dr_Evil has lent me a copy of "Pride & Prejudice & Zombies". Should I be scared or optimistic?

Optimistic! It's a very amusing read, and offers a fun twist on the classic story xD
On a related note, I've started reading "Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters."
Jane Austen is rolling in her grave.

I tried reading "The Redneck Manifesto" by Jim Goad, but it's kind of a hard read. I can't keep my mind on it.
So I started on "Beer Blast" by... uhh... that one guy. I can't remember his name. Anyway, it's a really amusing, eye-opening story about the brewing industry. It starts with a history of the different types of beer in America, all the failed brands, and how big names--like Miller, Budweiser, Coors, and others--got to where they are, and how they've been challenged by smaller brands such as Heineken, Corona, and Sam Adams. It's a little dated--written in 1996, I believe--so the figures aren't accurate. But it's still pretty relevant.
The author was the advertising executive for the company that imported Heineken before it was taken over by Heineken US. He tells how Jim Koch (founder of Sam Adams) isn't the nice guy that he seems like he is in his commercials. He took some cheap shots at Heineken by taking advantage of his incredibly small per-barrel production.
It's a good book for anyone who likes reading about wars going on inside of an industry.

Tell me which ones are best, outside of Henry James, Poe and Lovecraft. :L I love the original The Haunting movie, but I've never read the story.

Monk's pretty good. We made the Devil the Frat guy in college that says to the main character: YOU MADE OUT WITH YOUR SISTER, MAN!
Horror Reader's pretty nifty. Talks about different theories about different horror films. Demon Theory, House of Leaves, and My Soul to Keep, we haven't read it yet. But, I'll tell you how I like them. c:

I'm reading S.M. Stirling's Nantucket trilogy. It's closely tied to his Emberverse series which is one of my favorite series's of all time.

Cradle to Cradle(not actually on paper, but it's still a printed book) Unless it's printed on something other than paper, this is impossible. Do you mean published?
