The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera. I used to really like the genre novels- the Night Angel Trilogy was really good- but I think I'm finally at the point where I can get through a Russian (or Czech) novel without getting bored with it. Kafka almost doesn't count here, Metamorphosis is too short (the cockroach one). Dante is okay, but the third part was hard to get through. Inferno was good.
Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter...you're s******* me. Really? That's...awesome.

Unfortunately, the book I was reading (Halo Evolutions) is in my Book bag in my locker at school, so all I've been reading is my Black Lagoon Mangas, if those count.

Black Lagoon! That was all I understood, having never played or read anything Halo. If those count... Surely I read that wrong and you made an edit that hasn't yet taken effect yet... Have been meaning to read it sometime, along with the other few dozen manga on my to-read list.

I didn't know if Mangas, and Comics counted, since everybody was discussing actual books and such. Anyways, yesh, pretty good Mangas. I wish to purchase more of them in the future, but Mangas and Books aren't on a priority list of things I want to buy.

I read this book called "Sleeping Freshmen Never Lie" that my 15-year-old sister borrowed from a friend. I only read it because I was bored and needed something to occupy myself while I was in the bathroom, but it turned out to be a really good book. I know a book is really good when I'm pissed off that it ends.
I wanted to RAAAGE when I finished this one.

No such animal. I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 DnD books. All of which I've been reading through to gear up for running my own DnD campaign

Good for you. I'm not a D&D man myself, I prefer Dark Heresy, but my brother has somewhere in the order of thirty D&D books.

Manga/Graphic Novels/Comics should always count! With some of them having epic stories that rival novels... They have a right to be here! To fight for art! Wish I had a speech to go with that, but Monster and Battle Royale are the first ones that come to mind. Currently reading Emperor: The Gods of War by Conn Iggulden. Damn, this guy is seriously amazing. Can't believe that I'll be done his historical fiction once I finished this one. But thanks a bunch for recommending him Cheez!

Just finished reading the first volume of Bokurano Ours. It wasn't bad, but it was really predictable. I pretty much figured out how the whole series was going to go halfway through, with a few exceptions.
Also, Deadman Wonderland is really good so far.

Last book I finished was Patient Zero, which was pretty good. Intense narrated action sequences ftw. Working my way through Pride, Prejudice, and Zombies... even with zombies it's very hard for me to enjoy Jane Austen.
Have a bunch of half read Chuck Palahniuk novels and stories to work through.
Deadman Wonderland is amazing, wish it updated more. Still need the rest of the Helloboy and BPRD comics, and more of The Boys for my shelves.
