Eden by Tony Monchinski is a really good zombie book very fast pace. John dies at the end by David Wong this is one of my favorite books of all time i read it all the time. The inheritance series was really good also by Christopher Paolini.
There are a lot of good books out there.

"The Mammoth Book of Zombie Comics". Highlights include "M*A*Z*H*" for hilarity, "Dead Eyes Open" for the sheer brilliance of sentient "zombies" trying to face down racism and get emancipation, and "Job Satisfaction" for making the point that a zompocalypse is not always a bad thing ("I got all the sex I want, a big fucking gun and I love my job.")

I still need to finish the Horus Heresy. I saw the sequel to it at the book store, so I'll be sure to get that after I'm finished it.

I just bought all 5 books of "The Walking Dead," 12 issues per book written by Robert Kirkman. That's 60 comics worth of zombies for all of you that suck at your ABCs!
I can't wait until this hits AMC in October...

Shall have to watch for that.
I'm reading "Dr. Faustus." It's good stuff; just when I think it's getting too overwrought, the narrator says "But they were just being pretentious students, so let's skip the rest." Describes music really wonderfully too.

I bought Nausea by Jean Paul Sartre but was busy with other books so I'm finally going to read it this summer.

"Nausea"... read it about 14 years back and I'm still trying to work out just why it didn't do anything for me. Not even vague irritation.
