I didn't know that. And I didn't take the chaos marines to be zombies, I figured they were just regular space marines corrupted by the warp, and turned into daemons. But that is pretty kick-ass.

Most are like that, but the ones dedicated to Nurgle have every disease that will ever exist, and because of this pretty much have to seal their guts so their organs won't pour out, not that they'd really care.

Nice. Well maybe they'll pop up more as I read through the books in the Horus Heresy.
EDIT: Read another chapter, yup, they were corrupted by Chaos God Nurgle (Though they called him "Nurgh-Leth" in the book). They were all zombies, and to kill them you have to shoot them in the head. Neat.

Misery by Stephen King, just finished the infamous axe scene. Loved the suspense, even if I did know the outcome. And Agatha Christie's Partners in Crime, working through it one chapter at at time.

Scott Pilgrim. My friend got it for me for my birthday, but decided to give it to me a week (and a bit) early because she is going to New Zealand for a holiday during my birthday. It's awesome and I'm enjoying it a lot and I'm up to volume 4 now and I'm gonna go read it now before I sleep.

Misery I think still stands as Kings best written book. He's done other stuff I've ENJOYED more but Misery is one of the pinnacles of the suspense genre because you absolutely HAVE TO TURN THE FUCKING PAGE AGAIN TO SEE WHAT WILL HAPPEN AND WHAT ARE YOU FUCKING CRAZY? I CAN'T PUT THIS THING DOWN UNTIL I'M FUCKING DONE READING IT! At least that was my experience the first time I read it. Only time actually. It was one of those things I know will never have the same impact a second time so I've never reread it. Or watched the movie. It's too bad Stephen King jumped the shark years ago.

So true on Misery; I pretty much only stop when it slows down a bit. A couple pages to go, and out of the three Stephen King books I've read, this one has the best ending. But then again, only read Cell and Under the Dome, where one ending felt like a cliffhanger and the other was a complete and total cop-out. Edit: Not enough time has gone by for a necro, so just editing. Stumbled upon Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 1st Kiss - Actual Play, and it's some pretty funny stuff. And the outfits... Also has one of the classiest pick-up lines known to man: "Hey, hey cutie. A highschooler, are you? I'll give you a free skin test. How about that?"

We read 6 tales from The Canterbury Tales in literature class. I read The Lies of Locke Lamora again which I highly recommend. Now I'm reading The Three Musketeers and Othello.

Finished rereading "Pandora's Star" by Peter F. Hamilton. BIG book. Finally ordered part two "Judas Unchained". Some very nice ideas in there, especially the Dyson Alpha aliens and how to totally mess up someone's day by ruining their Mars landing. No spoilers of course. The idea of the planet of "Huxley's Haven" raises some interesting points as well.
