What is everyone watching recently?
The other day, a friend introduced me to "Glee" and I've been hooked ever since. Sure, the story is a little cliche, but it's amusing enough and has some killer music. Also, Jayma Mays as the guidance counselor with severe OCD makes me go "D'AWW"

Heroes now that it's back. I was watching Warehouse 13 all summer and now I can't wait for the new season of that. Also waiting for Dollhouse and LOST to start back up.

House is the only show I actually bother keeping up with. The season premiere was AWESOME I also watch at least an episode of Firefly a week...usually one a day . Currently I'm watching the end of Snow Dogs.

I got rid of my telly three years ago as British terrestrial (no cable, no satellite) is rubbish nearly al the time and the fee for having a telly is extortion. Beloved has a telly and when I'm with her I request: Dr. Who (when it's on) Spring/Autumn Watch (when they're own) The Gadget Show (once a week on Ch. 5 when it's on) The Sky At Night (on once a month, repeated once a month) The odd film/documentary/comedy. Digital radio is a real blessing.

You have to pay a fee to have a TV? That's kinda lame.

Licence Fee in Britain. It pays for the BBC. And it sucks. You want to have Free View? Pay the Fee. VCR in the house just to watch vids? Pay the Fee. A satellite dish to watch foreign only? Fee. and it's three times more for colour than black and white tellies. Even the blind on only get a small discount on about £140 per year and YOU PAY THE SAME FOR 5 STATIONS AS YOU DO FOR FREE VIEW OR FREE SAT regardless. I ditched my b/w portable telly on principle. I mean why should I pay for soap operas I hate? And if you don't pay and get caught it's £10000 fine and up to 3 years in prison. They run ads to scare people. I got hassled three times by mistake (knock on door, etc). First time was because I had a legit b/w licence and the TV Licensing Authority (seriously, that's their name) hadn't bothered to list b/w holders as *everyone* watches colour. Second time it was because I'd bought a coffee machine and the wrong bit of form was filled in. But you do get a licence for free if you over 75. No really, I am not kidding.

That is seriously fucked up. Over here you only have to pay if you have satellite or cable. You can watch local channels for free as far as I know.
