Are you gonna skip simply because you can't make your own character?
More like it seems like they went from saying "Hey, let's make this really awesome game with lots of variety" to "...So, the Left 4 Dead characters were pretty popular..." |

Yeah, agreed, Log. But I think it's good to just toss all of those prior assumptions aside and see the game for how it is now instead of how it could have been.

Character customization would have been awesome, yes, but you can't just insignificantly toss a game aside for a reason such as that. I mean, if Oblivion had a pre set hero, I would still play the game. Y'know why? Because it's incredibly fun. It's not like no character customization will ruin the fun experience or anything.

I've been waiting for this game for five million years, and missed preordering a load of other games (Fallout 3, Dead Space, Left 4 Dead, Fable 2, ODST), so I pretty much had to preorder this. Or I couldn't call myself a gamer. XD
Unfortunately preordering online means I get it later than others. *Grumble* Now everyone's playing it while I sit here. XD

NERDGASMS APLENTY...

It's what we expected.

Playing as Mordecai is really fun; I think it'd be better played on a TV other than my own, since my TV sucks
*Shakes fist at TV*
Anyway, it's really awesome, the only downside is that the load times are so long that you might think that the game froze; and (For me anyway) after you pick your character on the bus and the guy tells you to get off, it lags like crazy.
All in all, it's fucking awesome

I think there's lag for everyone. I remember seeing some when the live-streaming dude was playing, though not much.
Ugh...Damn you Amazon and your lagginess. Must...PLAYS...

I got it for 360 and haven't experienced any >.> I did find a glitch at the beginning but that was fixed by reloading the save. The game is excellent so far. I love Claptrap, the little robot. He's hilarious lol.Driving around running people over is fun too.  |

Only real problem I heard the game had was framerate slowdown in much bigger battles. Anyways, I hope to get a job so I can buy it.

I got it and it is AWSUM. It brings back, for some reason, hilarious memories from Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath. Just parts, though. XD I haven't lagged whatsoever. Yet. And I've played larger battles and haven't dealt with lag or slow framerate. It might have to do with individual 360s. But yeah, fucking awesome. Mordecai is my hero. I thought I'd have an issue with sniping, but it's quite the opposite.  And anyway, you're not restricted to one type of weapon. |
