I don't know, with other people being overly hostile, it was mostly all at once or started a big deal and they usually got yelled at, where this is just kind of constant and really annoying.

I don't really see it that way, most of the right wing forumites are gone now. I'm just sick of "Americans are all this way negative comment negative comment". A joke to two, I can handle, as I have been know to throw out a few myself, but there's a difference between "Canadians drink milk from bags" jokes and "American's are fucking idiots."
Unless I am mistaken and my Canadian jokes are truly offensive, then I will stop, as I can't think of a Canadian forumite who actually makes me angry in any way on a regular basis.

Well, again, the picture itself wasn't a problem- there was just a potential for complaints about it. Fortunately, no such complaints were forthcoming, as far as I'm aware. And we've had enough flamewars in the past about politics for TLO's warning to be well-earned. |
