I tried playing L4D during the weekend it was free to play, it was way worse than that. Everything was either solid black or white, and it lagged.

the Melee weapons replace your handgun. Yeah, unless I get a chainsaw, then melee weapons can piss off. Most Melee weapons seem to do the same amount of damage as the regular gun melee attack.
Uhh, what? All the melee weapons are instant kills against common infected, even on expert, are you attacking with them or shoving? On normal, with 80% health and adrenaline I killed a Charger with a machete. Took his big arm right off. Best time I've ever rushed the alarm.

Melee is the made for run and gun, it is beautiful, I can consistently decapitate with the machete. Pair that with an adrenalin shot and alarm run aint half bad. and my favorite trick with the boomer bombs is to hit a boomer with it...its like payback for all the ninja puke attacks  |
