Probably some sort of disk burner or virtual drive manager.

Who said anything about pirating it?
Uploading it for free download of a non abandonware game? Or did I misunderstand the turn the conversation was taking? If so I apologize.

But when we were talking about uploading it we thought it was Abandonware because it was when I downloaded it in the first place.

But sadly, the copyright lawyers won't believe that we simply just 'did not know'.

If you're going to have a virtual drive manager, use DAEMON tools. I've seen complaints at one point or another for all other drive managers out there, except Daemon. Tried to run all manner of bizarre formats past it, never had any trouble.
(BTW, according to local law, I'm allowed to make image file backups, as long as they are only for me, i.e not shared. I've used this opportunity to create and test a wide assortment of image file types. Of course.)

Which is why I didn't delete posts or ban anyone. I just wanted to put out a friendly reminder to steer away from dangerous terrritory. Carry on.

Yo.
I bought and installed Fallouts 1 and 2. I tried playing Fallout 1 just now, and it was odd. Loads of pixels aren't showing the right colour. I tried doing a print screen thingy but it didn't come out right. Unfortunately, it's kind of hard to explain, I can only hope you guys know what I mean. Can anyone help me with this? How do i fix it?

I had the same problem, you're running XP right? right click on the game, go to properties and set the compatibility to either windows 95 or 98, I'm not sure which.

have completed every fallout game except for the first one, the disc was a disaster when i wanted to reinstall it.
in my meaning they removed to much of the original fallout when they made the third one, not just the whole converting into a Fps
*please don't ask me for help with the games i completed them age's ago, don't remember much + anyone knows if the first one is freeware yet?
( i know this topic is old so you don't have to post back )

Not freeware; They're both now on Steam, it's not abandon-ware anymore, so support the guys who made it.
But I agree with what you said about Fallout 3, it just didn't feel... Fallout-y.

Thx for the quick response , and just as you said , fallout 3 ain't fallout . it's something else, but it includes undead's and nice explosions. good enough for me. oh,well might as well skip the first game until it becomes freeware , buying the game would increase my nerd lvl.
