This year, last year, anytime; what movies did you like the most? I think my favorite for 2009 is "G.I. Joe" (I have got to get me one of those "accelerator suits" ). "Harry Potter" was pretty good, but it felt like a lot was left out.

I am hard pressed to pick a single movie as my favorite. It's not that I am so wise that I see the quality of all film...I just cant commit to one, there are so many that are the bestest

Has a smile that is linked to Armageddon. In short, I hate you Fatman and I am going to kill you and replace you with me so I can live in a dorm as cheap as that. HOW MUCH DID YOU DRINK?

District 9 was fucking amazing. Definitely one of my favorites.
Saw District 9 too! Unfreaken believable! but ol' Neil Blokamp was supposed to making the Halo movie but since it ran out of funds they decided to make District 9 instead. The movie was gory but it was epic from start to finish

I'm going to see District 9 today. I also enjoy the Humphrey Bogart classics, like "Casablanca" and "The Maltese Falcon".

i have recently watched Gi.Joe, and i loved it. Although, ice falling on the underwater station was a step a bit too far in my opinion. I'm waiting for polish premieres of district9 and inglorious bastards, as i dont want to watch them on the computer for the first time.

That new Tim Burton movie "9" looks interesting, I'm not usually a fan of his stuff, but "9" does certainly look good.

Harvey (the perfect antidote to the conformist propaganda that is It's A Wonderful Life).
The Devil Rides Out as me and Dr_Evil's girlfriend watched it religiously as kids.
Nosferatu (both the original b/w version and the remake just for atmospherics).
The Call of Cthulhu by The H>P> Lovecraft Historical society (as it sticks strictly to the original story and is done as if it were a contemporary film).
Airplane! as it's not only hilarious but if you grew up with 70s disaster flicks (especially Airport '77) like I did it's even funnier. "We have to get these people to a hospital immediately." "A hospital? What is it?" "It's a big building full of sick people, but that's not important right now." Classic.
