I don't know how to feel about thisEspecially for the fact that Jake Gyllenhall is the Prince. Not liking that right now. And it's from Disney. And I think it should be R. So, discuss this movie game that's not directed by Uwe Boll.

I think Jake makes for an alright Prince, and it does look interesting. Though I do agree on how it should be R.
Really, I don't know I should feel about it right now either.
It looks like it will be either be good, or bad, it's been awhile since I've played the Sands of Time, so I really can't say on the accuracy of the game right now.

I really liked Sands of Time, but maybe I'm just being an old woman when I say that I prefer the very first Prince of Persia. XD Let's Play version of Prince of PersiaBut that's me. I think I might have to see a couple different trailers to get into it. However, I will agree when I say that I haven't played Sands of Time for a really long time. |

Ahh, finally! After years of waiting.
Well...I'm pissed that it's not R, but I'm happy that it's being done by the people who did Pirates, since I know they'll do it perfectly. My only problem is Jake...Not the right actor...They should have found someone of Middle-Eastern descent.
So, can't say whether it'll be good or not, but I have high hopes. If I don't see the Dahaka, Sand Wraith, or Dark Prince then I'm gonna destroy this movie.

The prince never really was very middle eastern in the games either, was he?
I know in the new one he's pretty much a North American, talks like one and everything.

Eh? He was pretty Middle Eastern...Not in dialect (more of an English dialect), but in appearance. He has an American accent in the cell shaded one? What the hell....Eh, I'll let them pass. It was a reboot. But the original trilogy he was Middle Eastern as hell. Which made him cooler, cause there aren't a lot of games with those types of leads.

Never played the old one, played the new one a little bit.
I really don't care what its like in reference to the game if I never played it, it just has to be good, and enjoyable I guess.

XD It's easier when you haven't played all of the games. I just hope I come away from it like I came away from the Silent Hill movie; the SH movie was different, but it was still good and they kept the general atmosphere and everything except the overall storyline. So I hope it's that way with this movie.

As he was the PRINCE of Persia, he was middle Eastern. I know in the new one he's pretty much a North American, talks like one and everything.
He is actually a Persian, fun fact, as he is in Persia, and in that time period, if you were from North America, you were either a "native American" or an eskimo. |

It agitates me when people give characters accents that they shouldn't have. Which even goes for the Prince's voice in the original trilogy.

He looks cool being all rugged the way he is, but I don't think he played a good PoP. That, and in the games, you never had a girl directing your missions. Also, I just can't see Donnie Darko doing free-running. However, it may be okay.
One thing I disliked about it, and other movie previews, is when they say "From the producers of (insert awesome movie)"
Producers have no say in the success of a movie really. They just provide the funding. So I could give a rat's tail about this being from the producers of PoTC.
