Pretty much what the title says, I am hunting for something like heromachine (for those who dont know what that is please google it, my linking skills suck), I found heromachine useful for making NPCs for the pen and paper rpgs I run but heromachine disapoints me. I was wondering if you forum crazies out there knew of a better character builder. I just need something that makes a pretty picture, I need no stats or anything. Everytime I try to google it I get heromachine or something that makes stats but no image.

I believe that Heromachin, or the variations thereof, is the only thing out there that does what you are asking. I know it sucks...but it's all there is. The only thing I could suggest is to create a better flash NPC creator.

Yeah, pretty much. Unless you download Poser, which gives you 3D models to work with. But I dunno how easy it is to customize them.

Would anyone with a background in 3D be able to figure it out?

I dunno. I don't have a background in 3D...unless you count my room but srsly, I would probably need a class to teach me how to use it.

I just use The Sims 2 and a lot of custom content for my characters. Sure, it costs money, but it allows for a lot more versatility and customization, plus it's loads more fun >>
