Was playing Star Conflict, but dropped because of the terrible tier system it has in the game. Mostly because the Higher tier you are the more damage and reduce the damage you take in the game, worse even if you are good the tier system nullifies it because you'll be blown sky high before you even blink.
Practicing some SimCity 3000, trying to find out how long I can last before I start bleeding out money.

Beat Tomb Raider last night. I'll probably put up a review later this week. I will say that overall it was a good game and worth playing.

I did a review of it for a friends site. :0 Played more Dark Souls last night, got past the giant dudes and the goblins that hurl lightning, oh, and those annoying pricks with the giant bows. I'm inside that big chapel looking place now, and I'm trying to kill Lautrec, he is hella annoying. |

I did a review of it for a friends site. :0 Played more Dark Souls last night, got past the giant dudes and the goblins that hurl lightning, oh, and those annoying pricks with the giant bows. I really need to get back to Dark Souls but I know I'll get back to Skyrim to at least beat the Dawngaurd campaign before that happens. And I just bought Sleeping Dogs and all the DLC on Steam while it was 75% off so I'll probably be playing that as well... |

How about that Gothic Universe collection for a fiver, eh? Much better than the $12.49 bundle for an extra three lesser games in the franchise. Sid Meier's Pirates, Mack the Knife is nearly 40 and still needs to find the hideout of the Marquis, his Grandpa, woo one of the beautiful daughters of any four of the governing nations (Leaning towards the Dutch  ) and Mendoooooooza still escapes me. I have 3/4 of the map pieces I need for the hideout but can't find it, could only find the Lost City of the Incas. Think it's winding down, going to finish it at the Rogue difficulty level, as Swashbuckler is for sadists. |

Btw, the next DLC for skyrim was leaked on steam, it's called "Redguard". I'm playing dark souls right now, Ornstein and Smoughs are fucking impossible. They're like ying and yang, you can't attack one without being pounded by the other. |

Which version of Pirates you playing? The last one I seriously played was the Genesis port on an emulator. I had like 125% completion due to successfully having privateering deals with two nations pretty much the whole game. I really do need to replay the more modern incarnation though Pirates is one of those games that has been around in one form or another almost as long as I've been gaming and that I've played or replayed for nearly as long as that.

Only have the Steam Pirates version, was a total steal at $5. Was recently traipsing in Mexico and Vera Cruz, but heading back to the East Side to sell some Spice and Sugar. I'm playing dark souls right now, Ornstein and Smoughs are fucking impossible. They're like ying and yang, you can't attack one without being pounded by the other.
At least it plays a gloriously awesome theme while they're kicking ass. |
