Played some more Uncharted 3 last night, really epic game. Also just played the MGS Snake Eater 3D demo on 3DS. Some good improvements have been made to the game, such as ditching the whole lock on thing, being able to fire first or third person, and being able to access stuff easily from the bottom screen. May just have to pick it up. If only I had the money. :C

Snake Eater remains one of my all time favorite games. You have piqued my interest.
Did you get to Drake's plane crash yet? (Totally not a spoiler, the crashed plane has been used in almost every promo shot and is on the cover of the game.) I ask because I'm curious on your take on the sequence right after it and then how it seques into the next part of the game after that.

Not quite yet, no. But I'm just right before that. Playing Uncharted Golden Abyss right now actually, long game, much longer than I was expecting a Vita launch title to be. Also very fun, they did a great job of bringing the experience to the handheld.

Yes, and if Earl was Blacklist #3, then oh my God yes. I sympathize with my friend who punched out his laptop, because I bruised my knuckles when I punched my desk after losing to that guy the umpteenth time. Unrealistic acceleration at 150 miles an hour, much? |

Speaking of controller damage I might have broke a 360 controller last night when I rage quit Arkham City. On my first playthrough I took out the final boss without dying once. New game plus? Fuck you NG+ fuck you...

The game or the controller? The game is bitch hard and they altered the final bosses attack pattern. What adds the extra bit of frustration is there is a second stage to the boss fight complete with an unskippable cut scene between the two stages. The first part isn't especially hard but it's long and tedious. If you die on the second stage you start from scratch. The controller? It might be fine, I whipped it across the room and walked away. Haven't touched it since last night.
EDIT: If the controller is damaged it would mark the second time in my long gaming career I damaged something out of game rage. The first being the original Guilty Gear game disc. I ripped it out of my PSOne and threw it at the wall so hard we were finding pieces of that disc for months afterward. That game cheated.

My game rage is typically limited to profanity laden outburts that peel paint and make the baby Jesus cry. I think I also killed my neighbors lawn once.
