Yea, the demo was all kinds of glitchy. I've heard the actual game isn't but haven't played it myself to confirm. |

I picked up Jurassic Park the game and beat it in a distressingly short period of time this weekend. Review of that plus my previously promised review of Arkham City up in the review thread.

I had heard that the game wasn't very good at all.
I went out yesterday, pre ordered ME3, gonna pick that up tomorrow. Also got myself "Haze" super cheap on PS3. Haze was the supposed PS3 Halo killer back in 2008 I believe, or at least that's what it was hyped to be. In the end the game bombed, and I was really disappointed as I was looking forward to it, well I decided to get it, and can understand why it bombed, though I am still able to enjoy it, it's not the WORST game ever, they do some things right, and I'd like to see a sequel to it, though I doubt that'll happen.
EDIT: Forgot to mention too, I got the Tribes Ascend beta last night. Have not gotten a chance to play it. Had to download a 2.5 gb update last night, and then the server was down, and then the server went back up but it needed another update, and now its back down again... I'll be upset if after all this it won't run on my laptop. xD

What are the chances, that if i buy ME3 "in advance" i get my console "locked" by EA/Bioware? I know a person who can get me ME3 like...RIGHT NOW if wanted.

Very unlikely, EA doesn't have that kind of power, they can't just lock up somebody's xbox. People get games early all the time though, and nobody has ever punished them for it.

There's a new S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mod coming out that's supposed to include a lot of content that was meant to be in the game then got cut before it was released. I'm excited for it.

They aren't supposed to anyway. Its illegal for them to sell in advance but its perfectly okay for you that if you did get it early you can play. I remember I got my hands on Mechwarrior 2 2 weeks before its release and I played it online on the xbox without problems. Raging at my clock. It's 9:30. Mass effect. Half an hour. COME THE FUCK ON. FUUUUCK A solid hour in now... I've got my generic "I don't know about this guys" thing going on. There are plenty of moments that made me go "Oooh!" but there are a lot of moments that make me wonder why I don't have conversational input. It's not so much Choose-Response-Choose-Response-Choose, it's more Choose-back and forth-Choose-Back and forth. If that makes any sense. |

I'm still feeling pretty bad about this. Two hours in, only just got free reign, but my options are "Walk down hallway, take elevator to this room, take elevator to this room." Haven't gotten the chance to explore the Normandy yet. This is making me really sad. This isn't a fucking hub world. This is a room with NPCs that you can't talk to in it. Just left the Citadel. Guess how many missions I have. It's more than zero, but it's less than two. |

Welp. PS3 can't read discs anymore... so that's awesome. Anything I put into it just won't show up on the XMB at all. This really sucks, and after I got a new game too. :/
