Fixed Penumbra! It was some graphical option I had to disable that was making it run funky. Weird.
Got myself Operation Flashpoint: Red River after trading in some games I never play, and my friend got me Bulletstorm as an early birthday gift.
Red River is great, very tactical shooter, not quite as pretty as battlefield, but still a fun game. Bulletstorm is a great shoot em up, very violent with lots of ways to kill your foes.

Bulletstorm is a fantastic game, and my biggest problem with it was how soon it ended. That's the best kind of shooter. Over the top, crazy shit happening constantly, people flying everywhere, explosions, monsters, bullets, beer, space pirates... Fuck yes.

Been playing more Operation Flashpoint: Red River. It's certainly realistic, one shot could be the end of you, but what doesn't help is how dumb your squad can be, sometimes the death of a squadmate is inevitable. I also don't like that you're set in a massive level, but only get to traverse a small portion of it. In all though, it's a fun tactical shooter.

Stopped playing Blacklight, games still to early and from the looks of it is pretty ridden with hacks and autoaim crap.
Also the game crashes ever 4 games, might wait until it gets out of beta.
Edited for grammar, for some reason my brain decide to replace wait for weight, I think I need to start working out.

Played a few VERY quick games of Infinity, and I really liked it.
The game goes a lot faster, as models can "React to each other" (Someone takes a shot, everyone with line of sight to that guy can shoot back, or dodge or something).

Super Robot Taisen Original Generation Saga: Endless Frontier, the title is as big as the boobage.
Seriously, the sizes are pettanko and massive. And it's hilarious, in a perverted way. It's got a neat fighting system going for it and it's pretty fun. Should have gotten it complete but went with a plain new copy for $8.

More OF: Red River. The AI can be dumb, and I don't find myself taking full advantage of every command, but despite it's shortcomings, I really enjoy the game. Combat is intense, one wrong move can spell doom for you and your squad, the environments are large and nice to look at. This is a game I look forward to playing on a harder difficulty, totally minimizes the hud.
Played some more Bulletstorm too! Beat the giant flytrap boss. This game feels a lot like what Gears of War would be like in first person.

The plot and writing are a love it/hate it thing, and it totally is. Hardly a conversation goes by without a joke about boobs. And the combat, love trying to get the timing down on moves to get that Guard Cancel bonus. And racking up obscene amounts of hits. |
