Just played BF3, Operation Metro, 500 Tickets, at the end of the match, with all bonuses, had about 24,000 Points, with 70 deaths, and like 60 kills. Unlocked Country Acquired Guns, Javelin Missile Launcher, and oodles of other goodies. Half way to getting my AS VAL.

I quit after 10 hours, and returned it. Everything about that game is just awful. But it's okay because the game opens up 40 hours in! No, fuck that.
See, I watched my brother play it, and he hit the "end of the training period" after ten hours, and as I watched him, I thought "Wow, that looks like fun", and the combat system, when you're not fighting an absolutely STUPID boss, works. But when I'm sitting here playing it and I have to look up guides so I can figure out how to not get killed in a matter of seconds by a boss, it pisses me off to no end.

I picked up Battlefield 3 for the playstation yesterday, so I've been playing a lot of that. I forgot how great the battlefield games are.

Was playing MC Online. UNTIL I LOST EVERY-FUCKING-THING. The Nether is one of the worst places I've ever had to traverse in a videogame, and the ghasts are just fucking annoying. If you hear one of those you know your day is about to be ruined, and good luck trying to hit them with a bow.

Borderlands. As the first co-op RPG game I've played, it's pretty fun. I'm playing as Siren with my brother as the Sniper. Working out pretty well so far. I think I'm gonna work on my elemental damage and Phasewalking.

Recently downloaded Monster Tale for my DS. It's a very fun, cute, and unique game. It's like a PokeMetroidVania type game. You get little pokemon-like monsters to raise and such, they go up in levels, evolve, but you explore an open MetroidVania style platformer world. Unfortunately, my friend tells me that what kills the game is backtracking, which in Metroid and Castlevania isn't that big a deal, but in this it's apparently very forced, and frequent.
EDIT: Borrowed AC:R and Batman AA. Played about an hour of Batman, got bored as shit, now I'm playing AC.

There's a Sega Genesis classics pack on Steam that has Shining Force 2 in it. SF 2 may be the pinnacle of 16 bit JRPGs.

The one for the PS2/PSP needed Shining Force, would have traded Sword of Vermillion for it.

I'm actually playing it on my old genesis I've kept in storage, but my brother also owns 2 on the Wii.

Bully, ten steps into the tutorial and I get in a scrap. They just said to go to the principal's office but nobody taunts and jeers at the main without getting their teeth loosened. And kicked them when they were down, just because I could. Got busted though, so I did it again.

I LOVED Bully. It's one of the very few games in the last ten years I've beaten multiple times. Two 100% playthroughs on the PS2 then another one plus all the achievement whoring when I picked it up for the XBox 360. It is that increasingly rare thing among games nowadays... fun. IMO Rockstar STILL hasn't equalled Bully for quality. GTA 4? Annoying "relationship" mechanic and the clothing selection pales in comparison to Bully. Red Dead Redemption? Technologically RDR is the superior game but a LOT of the stuff you had to do for the 100% was mind numbing grinding. I like RDR a lot but have never had the desire to restart it from scratch again.

I couldn't get into that one at all, I played maybe a few hours and just lost interest.
Anyways, I got a beta key for Ghost Recon Future Soldier. The beta starts today. Anybody want it? I already got my beta from Splinter Cell Conviction. EDIT: Forgot to mention, this is for the 360 version.
