Far Cry 2. I went from "this is one of the most amazing games ever" to "I'm sick of driving all over the map all the time" in remarkably short order. It does do a lot of things very well though and the graphics maxed out on the PC are breathtaking.

Total Overdose, now it's busting into a weed compound with fertilizer tanks that create drugs. What else would a Mexican farming compound in Total Overdose be for except for farming drugs?

Far Cry 3 is looking like it's doing a lot right.
Playing Future Soldier still... There isn't really a whole lot of squad command for a squad shooter. It's more... Shooterish than tactical, though you can tag targets and your squad can take them down simultaneously. It's still a great game, but you might be let down by the lack of squad control, though people like me who aren't so good at that kind of thing will dig it.

I picked up Dead Island because it was on sale on Steam.
S'okay so far. I think I would rather have my own custom character than the ones that are given. Cool, yes, but not something that I want in a zombie game. It's very nitpicky but it's something I would prefer in a zombie game. Especially an open one like this. I'm playing as Sam B. (mostly for Phil LaMarr) and I was having trouble at a spot and I got confused because another Sam B character played by someone else came and helped me.

There wasn't much I hated about Dead Island, but the character choices were shit. And I hated them.

T'was an good game, the graphics were kinda pretty too, which is unusual for the Chrome Engine. I never got a chance to play with anybody though. Maybe I'll pick it up again in the future. I played as... whatsherface, the black Aussie ex-police officer chick. I like to shoot things. :3
Played some more Future Soldier, really loving the game, even if you're not Ghost Leader in this one.
Also started a new game on Just Cause 2. One of my main gripes when I first played was how little effort the enemy puts into chasing you with police pursuits and such, well I learned that how strongly they come at you is based on your difficult, so I was casual at the time, now it's normal.

Eh, I believe that you can't properly judge a game unless you're playing on the normal difficulty or higher.
