Yeah I gotta agree there. All of the characters are overpowered in some way. If you're playing as Radec your sniper rifle can easily toss guys around from across the stage, or your Left/Right + Square attack is just devastating.

I'm hoping this is stuff they'll address in a patch or something. This is something else that makes the game a better Smash Bros, in Brawl there were some pretty nasty balance issues, but nothing could be done about it at all, the Wii had very poor online functionality, and you just can't do patches for games on the console, so they couldn't release a balance patch or anything. But they can with All-Stars on PS3.

And I'm really hoping they do, because the game is a lot of fun. But that fun kind of goes away when you spend an entire match without gaining a single level of super because you're just going from one stunlock to the next. And, sadly, they'd have to straight up change a lot of characters for true balance.

Also, I finally got around to beating inFamous 2. Didn't love the ending.

And if you're going to do a soccer game without all the management, you might as well make it an anime one.

Cleaning up my non-Steam backlog with Beyond Good and Evil, The Bard's Tale for the Playbook, Project: Snowstorm (Just started) and Super Mario Galaxy.

Beyond Good and Evil, except for that brutally hard minigame with the discs and the aiming, it's a seriously kickass game. I generally don't like stealth but the stealth here is top notch. Not too hard, not overly easy, and it makes the pearls and Mdiscs compelling to get, like I want to get them all and I don't have to chew my arm off to get them.

The Bard's Tale, amazing voice acting, humorous, overpowered bow and I can do melee with two-handed swords or dual wielding and counter any blow. You get pretty powerful by the end but still an amazing port and the sound, they couldn't have done better.

Project: Snowstorm reminds me how shitty I am in console FPS games. I can hit the barn but not the cow in front of it if it's moving. That sucker's hard to hit. But it's spiffy, futuristic without being overly so, eases you into the gameplay and guns and stuff. You shoot people and there's an interesting plot, human experimentation's always gnarly when done right.

Super Mario Galaxy, amazing through and through but I have no business flying as Mario.

I have never heard of Project Snowstorm before and googling it yields me no results at all. Are you sure you're not mixing the name up?

Playing some Fez, I love me some indie games.

Oooh okay, never did play that one. A quick google shows that it has gotten pretty good reviews though. I may have to see if there's a demo on PC.

Its funny, Snowblind was supposed to have tie ins with Deus Ex.

Also trying to get Ragnarok Online 2 to work, having problem trying to stay connected.

Snowblind was gonna be a multiplayer based sequel "Deus Ex: Clan Wars", but after Deus Ex Invisible War sold so poorly the devs decided against it.

I never got that, Invisible War was a good game.  It's one of the very few games of that gen I played multiple times and it still stands as one of the very best Cyberpunk-esque games ever made.

Snowblind was good but would have been better as a Dues Ex game IMO.

Fun fact, I remember borrowing Invisible War from a friend right when it came out because he didn't like it (he found it to be "too religious" because of the faux religious overtones of the one group) and I devoured the game in an epic gaming binge lasting all weekend.  Months later I came across it at GameStop for 1.99 brand new.  I remember complaining to the guy who rang it up for me that it was a crime how cheaply it was being sold for and he pretty much treated me like I was a dangerous lunatic who might attack him unexpectedly.  But it really was sad, it deserved a better fate than the bottom of the bargain bin reject status it got.

I never played much of it when I had it (Though I did enjoy what I played of it when I did have it), and it got lots of good reviews, shame it didn't sell that much. A lot of fans of the first game weren't fond of it though, since apparently it changed up so much from the first game and was shorter.

I spent two, three-ish hours on Deus Ex and never left the island. Really awful at that game.

Wrapped up The Bard's Tale and took the proper ending:
(click to show/hide)

Rocking game and the original trilogy is included with it.

Paper Mario sticker star. Did someone else make this? Because all of the other paper Mario games are awesome. This one is... Kind of stupid.
