Playing Sins of a Solar Empire : Rebellion now, bought the DLC for steam summer sales. As much I love the game, the DLC was kinda "meh". At least it gave me an excuse to bring out again my Advent Loyalists Smiley

Got Mercenary Kings Early Access on Steam. It's from the guys who did the Scott Pilgrim XBLA game. So far it's pretty fantastic, though being Early Access it does have some issues... Specifically controls, and pausing.
The game was intended to be used with a 360 controller, though you can still use the keyboard, which is incredibly awkward to use, you can remap the keys, sorta, some keys just do not work if you remap them. The pausing issues are that when you bring up the pause menu, the game keeps going, and since missions run on a timer you can very easily fail the mission... So make sure you won't have any distractions.
Speaking of distractions, the female character you can play as. Her boobs. They never stop bouncing. THEY ARE PERPETUALLY BOUNCING. Zipline? Bouncing. Parachute in? Bouncing. Standing still? Bouncing. Apparently this was almost an issue with the Scott Pilgrim game, but they had it toned down. Wish they could do the same for this, because it looks pretty childish.

Pondering if I should pick up MS Saga for the PS2, I can get a used copy for 33 bucks on amazon.

Played a little bit of Shadowrun Returns last night when I got off work and really liked what I saw so far.  I'm looking forward to spending much quality time with both the game and the scenario editor.  I've already heard someone is in the process of recreating the SNES game with the editor.  Even though I liked the Genesis one much better that's still cool.

The extras they tossed in for the dog tag (that won't actually be pre bundled on the dog tag) are very nice, quick start guides and sourcebooks for the pen and paper RGP?  Don't mind if I do.

Well, Dishonored is supposed to be a stealth game, unlike System Shock and Bioshock.

Speaking of games, got Deus Ex 1 for cheap off steam... Hoping the STALKER games will go on sale, so I can buy the first one.

If you didn't grab it already the first STALKER game is 75% off today.

I noticed. I've been contemplating it, but I think I will get it. I have the second and third already.

Been playing Shadowrun Returns. The game is awesome, but I feel EXTREMELY restricted when it comes to Character Creation.

No gun adepts?

I don't know, I thought the character creation was decent.  It's miles above the SNES (one character) and Genesis (three characters) and the choices for customizing in game are pretty in depth.

Beat the main quest with my straight up no frills human Street Samurai, already started a new game as an Elf decker.  Also messing about with the scenario editor.  Some nice option are already becoming available, like lootable corpses.  I've had an unplayed Shadowrun campaign from way back when lying around that I would like to make a downloadable campaign.

Finished the main campaign of Shadowrun Returns (human Rigger)... I found the gameplay great, good ambiance, good OST (when I heard that one in combat I almost shitted my pants out of awesomeness http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4xFSTja__0), but the campaign itself felt too... linear. I really felt that whatever I could say or do, it didn't affected at all the outcome, which is a bit of a letdown, not like Shadowrun, where I expected to make a bit of grey-area choices.

Anyways, the game system is great, and I do really hope to see epic campaigns available soon Smiley
