Storywise two is arguably better, gameplay was best in one IMO.  From the pacing to the difficulty curve to the combat controls.  Three suffered from a lot of been there done that in almost every regard plus it pushed the suspension of disbelief required to enjoy it into Transporter 2 or 3 territory.  I'm glad I didn't pay full price for my copy of three even though the swag it came with was awesome.

But the the controls, difficulty curve, and combat controls were all the EXACT same. They didn't change the gameplay from the first one, save a few slight differences, they made it longer, with a more interesting plot and premise.

Except that they aren't.  The difficulty curve is more gradual and less challenging on each game.  Uncharted 1 took split second precision to beat on the hardest setting.  2?  Run in circles around a tree... ok?  3?  The only thing I remember about beating 3 was a dull sense of, "that was it?"

More SD Gundam.

Having Amuro facing Ribbons in Raizer OO.

Made even more funny that both characters are voiced by the same person.

I have no idea what you mean by running circles around a tree. The games felt the same as far as difficulty goes, getting gradually more difficult as you progress.

I just beat the first Uncharted. That last mission was harder than the entire rest of the damn game lol. About to start the second one since I picked it up for $10 at Gamestop today. Same thing I paid for the first one lol.

Also, even though TLO and I are giving 2 and 3 a hard time, all 3 games are pretty damn good.

Agreed.  I just hope they change up the formula if they go back to do a sequel.

Had to fiddle around with the setup to get Resonance running but once I got it right, went back and reinstalled Blackwell Legacy, put it on the exact same settings and it'll be more adventure gaming goodness here on out.

All I know is that I want Naughty Dog to make a new Jak.

A pity they can't go back to Jak & Daxter, that was one of the best damn platformers I've ever played.

I just bought Payday 2, and this game is ridiculously fucking intense. It's also insanely difficult if you don't have 3 other players.

Also, civilians need to not be made of wet tissue paper. If I'm going to be playing a bank robbery game, I should be able to properly communicate my feelings to my hostages. For example, when they try to activate the alarm, that upsets me. And I want to be able to tell them that with a pistol whip to the face.

I think after having done 3 games they're done with Uncharted (I'm pretty sure a different dev did the Vita game, which was fantastic, by the way). I'm still replaying The Last Of Us, I really didn't like it the first time I played, but I was playing almost entirely stealth, which I think is the wrong way to go about it, even though the game does encourage it early on.
