HAWKEN and Payday 2. I like it when it's balls to the wall insanity with bros.
Really wish it was easier to play with people with another country. Wouldn't mind playing Payday 2 with you RD_Blade.

Playing the original Deus Ex, have it on steam, just haven't played it that much. It's really hard playing the original game coming from Human Revolution, HR feels much more refined. The original has lots of really "Gamey" feeling stuff, that just kinda bogs down the experience. The biggest gripe I have so far is every weapon you use is total shit until you get the necessary amount of points to upgrade your skills, which can take a fair bit, I've gone through two missions now and don't have enough to upgrade my pistol skill yet, so a majority of the time I just zerg rush them with a knife, or spray and pray. Another issue is that there's no apparent autosave function (a feature most games had at the time), and as a result it just encourages save scumming.
I'll try to beat it, but so far it feels like a slog.

EDIT:

Ubisoft is having a wicked sale on PS3 currently, I got myself Rainbow Six Vegas 2, since I had always heard about how good it was, and so far the gameplay is great... However, there's horrendous audio issues with the download version of the game. Wish I knew that before buying it.

EDIT: The Walking Dead Season 2, Episode 2. Oh god, these cliffhangers, man.

Ooff, haven't been on in a while. Mostly been working, but got time off so now I've been playing both Xenoblade Chronicles and Lollipop Chainsaw, ontop of that some MonHun 3 Ultimate.

Trying to keep myself away from Doom, I'm pretty addicted to it. I don't think I can ever grow bored of it, as long as people keep making new mods and maps for it, and people still are all the time, the Dooming community is an amazing and dedicated one.

Anyways... Other games.

Battlefield 4, recently. Yeah, I know you all have probably heard about how broken or buggy or whatever it is... Though for me personally, playing it on the PS4, I haven't run into a helluva lot of issues. At least, not enough to really ruin my enjoyment of it. The latest DLC for it, Naval Strike, is probably one of the more enjoyable DLCs I've played recently.

I "beat" Gone Home earlier. I like the method of delivering the games story, non linear, visual storytelling, through notes and stuff, as a storytelling mechanic it's pretty great, and they did a good job of making this sort of unsettling, almost horror atmosphere for the mansion. However the story itself, while not really tackled often in games, isn't really all the special, it felt like oscar bait. I'm glad I bought it on sale though, it's not worth the full price.

After a few years of deeming it garbage, mostly because of how buggy it was on console, I decided to give New Vegas another shot after finding out my laptop would run it. SOOOOOO much better this time around, although right now I'm trying to get through Dead Money without pulling my hair out. I've been doing well so far, but now that I'm close to the end I'm getting impatient and having to search for the radios is pissing me off. That damned beeping has become the single most frustrating and infuriating sound...

Oh, any of you still playing it who enjoy bringing companions along, check out Niner from the Nexus. He's got a decent story and his comments throughout my travels have brought some welcome levity to some of the more dull or serious moments. Have to admit, hearing him go on about his former pet mantis, Señor Slicey Hands, while traipsing through Vault 22 was pretty amusing.

I keep meaning to get back to New Vegas but Dead Money straight up sucked all the fun out of the game for me.

Finally finished it. I didn't even stay to look for anything I missed. Fuck Sierra Madre. I was having a lot of fun with it up until the end, because I loved the atmosphere and the story, but I got lost a lot, and the fog and radios went from a challenge to an annoyance once I finally got into the casino.

Honest Hearts is up next, right after I unload all of this shitty equipment I brought back.

The Walking Dead Season 1

Wrapped up Episode 2: Starved for Help and this should have been one of the first games I installed on my new laptop. Only got around to it now and this was damn worth the Humble Bundle.
TLO's review of it on Steam helped out some.

Played a couple of hours of hearthstone.

I don't like it, I really don't...So I'm moving onto Diablo 3 liking the Crusader class a lot.

Glad I could help.  So far Season two is at Episode 2 and I'm not feeling the same "hooks in deep, I have to see what happens next" that I did in Season 1 at this point.  Hopefully it tightens up again later.  Wolf among us on the other hand is fantastic.

I'm loving the shit out of Wolf Among Us. It made me want to go back and catch up on Fables, as I'd stopped reading around Vol. 15. I'm really hoping to see more familiar faces in the next two episodes, mostly Cinderella and Frau Totenkinder.

Picking up the most recent volume of Fables from the library. The one before it, Cubs in Toyland, was one hell of a trip.

That's a shame about Season 2. Up to episode 4 and it looks like another long night where I go to bed at 6:30 AM after The Walking Dead. Didn't even feel tired when playing it throughout the night, only when I took my attention off it.
So emotionally invested and many times I felt the tears brimming in my eyes. It's just amazing and it would be tough to follow up on something of this calibur.

After this, definitely going for Sam & Max, stopped a bit after playing a bit of 301 but it's on my To-Do list now. That and Wallace & Gromit, loved the old shorts.

The Sam and Max games are solid gold, even Season 1 which despite having a slow start gained impressive momentum before the end.  And Season 2 of Walking Dead isn't bad by any means, it's just not Season 1.
