MAster Of Magic, the instruction books, the patch, and DOSbox have been downloaded and lurk on my USB drive to be installed on my own computers back in my flat. Being an old school CIvilization nut I'm looking forward to this. Hell, I once scored 69% in Civilization II with against the full roll call of NPC opponents on DEITY LEVEL. Yes, I know, I am awesome...

STO. Trying to get my main up to Vice Admiral. And respecced him so he can now fly both Cruisers and Escorts effectively (instead of just escorts)

I actually like playing MOM over Civilization, mostly due to the fact that one of the civs are Draconians. |

Restarted The Dark Spire again and spent 15 minutes rolling my stats. But now most of my characters can become any class.
And spent a good few minutes upgrading a class and reloading if the HP gain wasn't good enough, so I ended up with:
Charles/Human/Priest +8 HP from 6
Mae/Elf/Mage +7 HP from 4 (Seriously)
Garm/Human/Warrior +7 HP from 9
Had to get Disarmament for my Thief, which prevented me from leveling him in Thievery.
Found a treasure cache with a Claymore, which is one of the only things are pain-free.
Also playing it in classic mode, which is made of win.

Dragon Age Origins. My gosh I can tell this is going to be a very long game >.> That's without the extra downloadable content. I'm also amazed at all the voice acting in the game, and most of it is actually really good, and doesn't sound weirdly forced like a lot of other games I have played.

If you're playing on PC there are a few nice realism mods out that really do make it more difficult. I prefer them, and I'm glad that New Vegas is coming with it's own Hardcore option rather than having to wait for mods.

Nope, playing it on the XBox 360. I'm not sure how excited I am about New Vegas, since the marketing model for these games involves buying them, then buying a bunch of add-ons, then they release a collectors disc WITH all the add ons I think I'll just wait for the collectors disc. |
